Bybit, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, suffered a significant hack on February 21, 2025, resulting in the theft of approximately $1.46 billion worth of Ethereum (ETH) and related tokens from a cold wallet.

Ich finde es so verrückt, dass man auf ollama.com das 671b (!!!) Modell von #deepseek herunter laden und lokal laufen lassen kann. Zum Vergleich: auf meinem Gaming PC (32 GB RAM, nVidia RTX 3060 Grafikkarte, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core CPU) bekomme ich maximal die 32b Variante ans laufen.

I haven't used it except confirmed that it works with the Plus, though, as I did not yet understand how they work together (except being able to trigger stuff on the Plus from the Jam).
What I normally do:
* Load some instruments: kick, snare/clap, a few hithats (2-3), some other sounds for the high-end
* Load a Base, or side-chain the kick into a delay+distortion to create a rumble
* Use the step-sequencer to create a four-on-the-floor kick drum loop (4 or 8 bars)
* Duplicate the pattern, add some hithats, finger-drumming and quantizing it
* Duplicate that pattern again, add some more hithats (finger+quant)
* Add some off-beat Base (normally with the step sequencer, if I don't do rumble
* Play a **little** bit with the EQs on the low end and high end to seperate them a bit more
Still sounds like shit here. Or well... "shit" is a hard word. Its more like ... it doesn't sound organic enough, if that even makes sense with techno. It sounds like a 12 year old "Look I made a loop for the first time". There's no real groove there.
After that I continue with adding pad synth and some more instruments, but well... starting on a sub-par basis doesn't help to make the rest great, right?
