The new usbc is 40gbps transfer and charges at 240w, but you need a charger that is capable of outputting that and a device that can charge at that and most don’t - not even the new iPhones (not sure about android). I think only the frame laptop can currently charge at 240w. So it’s more future-proofing than anything but the transfer speeds are awesome - but again, depend on your device ports. (Usb4, thunderbolt 4, pcie4, display port 2.0)

People definitely better find a way to pay for food if you don’t know how to fish, hunt, or farm. Some people don’t have the ability to grow food because of their location. Being able to have an alternative form of paying for food is of great benefit. If it’s Bitcoin, then fine.
