Apparently there is misinformation going around that if the upper right corner is cut it would invalidate the vote.
The truth is, this is done with every ballot and is required so people with seeing disabilities can vote with the help of a braille thingy with cut holes at the correct spots for casting their vote at the right spot.
The cut helps to place it the right waay.
