My conclusion - the strategic bitcoin reserve will be in place before November next year.

I'd rather play with settings to find where it visually starts to degrade _for me_ than convince myself I need the fake resolution or frames, or that I can see a difference that I really can't.
Maybe I'm just a fart nearing 40 but Shadow of the Tomb Raider barely looked different at all if it even did with some settings that, turned on, sliced my FPS by a third. I wanna say RTX was one of them but it looked fine without it.
Tbh if game looks like ass without RTX that's a developer laziness thing. They have to fake lighting in many places anyway because realistically it'd be too dark, so the gamer waffle about "realism" is pure horseshit anyway. Like you can see a difference but really only side-by-side; on its own, the vast majority of gamers would EASILY be convinced well-done lighting is RTX.
