"But you need an optimized NIC and and and" bitch this thing would happily route over 3 Gbps of packet data without breaking a sweat, it doesn't give a fuck about my symmetric gig fiber nor routing any traffic between VLANs.
All for just an M.2 length adapter (shorter card -> longer mounting) and like $25-30 NIC (only because such a weird form factor to find).

Mas tem de lembrar que o bitcoin nasceu exatamente da paranoia. Todas as tecnologias que antecederam o bitcoin vieram de um grupo de paranoicos que achavam que o governo iria se tornar um "big brother" de 1984. Ah.. mal sabiam eles que não era o governo e sim as grandes corporações (hum... não sei porque isso me lembra uma certa ideologia dos anos 1930) que iam te vigiar constantemente.
PGP, hashcash, PoW, blind signatures, essas coisas todas foram tecnologias criadas pelos cypherpunks dos anos 1990. Cada um mais paranoico que o outro!
