I suspect this will not be well-received but I feel the need to make it.
Bitcoin is not as decentralized as you would like to think it is. The technology is not horrible itself, and the lightning network makes Bitcoin much more viable for some of BTC's issues, but here are my thoughts:
Even a top-end GPU can only get an estimated $0.50 per day mining Bitcoin according to NiceHash. There are similar statistics for even a new AMD EPYC Server CPU at ~$0.52 per day. This means that consumers putting hundreds, if not thousands, into a computer and mining with it couldn't see any real profit. This also leaves the majority of the network power in the hands of those with large amounts of resources to buy top-end ASICs for mining operations, usually being governments or large companies.
Bitcoin has its benefits for some, but I see too much nonsense being spilled on Nostr about it. It's meant to be decentralized, but due to average consumers being unable to viably support the network and gain from it, big entities control the vast majority of the network. This post ignores other issues I have with it, but decentralization is what I mainly see preached that is not really accurate.

So you will archive history? What can be done to best ensure the digital preservation of everything possible for the next thousand years? Something that would be difficult to tear down.
Would this involve long distance (global) raid configurations, or other forms of decentralization?
How about complimentary services. One that that serves as an immutable hard drive for the whole world. People could provide encrypted drive space for tiny amounts of Bitcoin, and keep getting paid over time. And people can pay sats to archive something that guarantees it's immutable archival for an estimated amount of time. So someone providing drive space could drop from the network and it would be fine.
This could work as a service, you might bid 100 sats a month for providing 1gb of drive space all the time.

Strike is really nice to use. I can't recall ever being irritated with it. The UI/UX is quite simple and just works for my needs.
If they had a debit card, I'd consider replacing my bank with the Strike app at this point. I keep just enough fiat for my fiat bills, so I really don't care if it's not technically a bank.
Whatever you think of KYC, their work on UX is incredible. And I'm confident they wouldn't do KYC if they didn't have to, for whatever that's worth.
