I honestly haven’t checked price in months… I still stack sats everyday, I just really never understood why price mattered. Bitcoin is bitcoin, that’s all that matters to me.
I learned about bitcoin in the 22k days, when everyone was very on edge due to the price, but I was so excited about it I didn’t care. I think learning during the bear market really helped my outlook.
When I went to the Miami Bitcoin conference at peak bear season, it was so disheartening to hear so many people be so negative on bitcoin because of the price.
Price shouldn’t effect one’s feelings or mood.

I don't understand the receive/send distinction and why it's important. Is it just that you want certain shards to be passive and unable to initiate requests because they're in an untrusted context? This seems like it could be a nice complement to the usual pattern of nagging the user about every permission request.

It's currently used by https://start.njump.me to encourage new users to get started with a multisig bunker, without having to set up any signer software on their end. This seems pretty close to the ideal of abstracting away keys for new users without compromising security too much.
If we get key rotation, simplier coordination, and/or encryption using frostr, that's an improvement over promenade. But third-party shard custodians have to be plugged into the nostr social layer via NIP 89 so that we can avoid collusion of dishonest signers.

Maybe the halving thing is in part due to self fulfilling prophecy?
i.e. people believe it, so they buy believing it, and hold because of it?
That in and of itself would mean more buying, less selling. If that is a factor, the more people that enter overall would reduce the % of people leaning into the halving cycles too, so each move would be more muted.

📖 **Description**: Very faint CME first seen in the NE by SOHO LASCO C2 beginning at 2025-02-26T09:36Z. This event fades before exiting the FOV in C2, and is therefore not visible in SOHO LASCO C3 or STEREO A COR2. There is no clear source seen on the disk for this event.

🚨 **Space Weather Alert: CME**
📅 **Date**: 2025-02-26
🕒 **Time**: 06:48Z UTC
📖 **Description**: CME first seen in the West by SOHO LASCO C2 beginning at 2025-02-26T06:48Z, as well as by SOHO LASCO C3 in later frames. This CME is not clearly visible in STEREO A COR2. The source of this event is a filament eruption centered at approx. S10W25 exhibiting a strong Westward deflection. This filament is visible in SDO AIA and STEREO A EUVI 304, along with dimming and post eruptive arcades seen in SDO AIA 94, 193 and STEREO A EUVI 195. A large North-South configured coronal hole is visible approximately 10 degrees to the East of the eruptive source. This coronal hole may cause deflection or acceleration of this CME.
