(注，其实就是趋势跟踪、趋势跟随策略，文中的“不止盈”应该指的不主动、主观止盈，而不是只进不出的不止盈。)
从实证的角度来看，其原因在于动量策略的收益通常具有正偏度、负峰度的特性（Koulajian and Czkwianianc，2011）。换句话说，动量策略有更高的概率取得极端为正的收益；从某种意义上讲，我们可以说动量策略是一种“以小博大”的策略。按照这种策略，在没有趋势或者震荡的行情下，应该及时止损，而不是耗在其中。这就是动量策略中止损的核心逻辑。
按照同样的逻辑，动量策略不应该设置止盈，因为这种策略能够抓住一些极端为正的行情，从而弥补多次小的损失。一旦设定了止盈，那么就无法享受厚尾收益，自然盈利能力也就大幅减弱了。
当然，如果你使用的并非趋势策略，那么你的风险控制的倾向就需要有所调整：策略本身的逻辑需要和风控的逻辑结合起来，止损和止盈并非独立于交易策略存在的。你应该全盘考虑，至少根据回测数据或历史业绩，判断收益具有何种统计特征，从而决定止盈、止损策略。
