To summarize:
US imprisoned Japanese as potential combatants during WW2. Germans did the same to Jews. One difference in treatment of captives has to do with German supply lines being bombed and US being able to feed their captives. Delousing (de-lice-ing) with zyklon-b shower facilities explains the appearance of massive gas chambers for murders. Lack of proper sealing and anti-static electrical work at these facilities eliminates the possibility of certain gases being used to accomplish mass murder.
These are reasonable hypotheses to investigate. But dispassionately evaluating the evidence doesn’t make for a fun movie so this is a superficial tour of the big ideas that in sum tell a different story.
Why the Jews were seen as the enemy isn’t as clear as why Japanese in America were identified as enemy.
