香港特区政府3日宣布5间获选“的士车队”营办商于3月底至7月陆续投入服务，将提供超过3500辆的士。获选营办商为3支市区车队和2支混合车队，共提供超过3500辆的士，占香港的士总数近两成。各车队均会提供电动的士、轮椅的士、豪华的士供乘客选择，以推动绿色运输发展，并照顾不同人士出行需要。为确保服务质量，所有车队均提供网约服务、客户服务热线和不同电子通讯预约渠道，让乘客按需要选择合适车型并就司机服务评分。另外，所有车队的士均会提供多项电子支付方式。
