Drogie Fedi,
Myślę, że czas najwyższy zacząć rozważać zmianę telefonu (czytaj: przygotowywać się psychicznie, żeby to zrobić w najbliższych miesiącach).
Faktem jest, że z żalem rozstawać się będę z moją Moto g(6). Był to prawdopodobnie ostatni taki telefon, choć już w tej linii widać było, że Lenovo niszczy markę — nie miała już chociażby "czystego" Androida bez śmieci, które trzeba było od razu wyłączać. Co miała? Czytnik linii papilarnych pod ekranem, który dodatkowo służył nawigacji (szalenie wygodne, i znaczna oszczędność ekranu). Plus sensowny wygląd, w odróżnieniu od nowych telefonów, które wyglądają jak "biblijnie dokładna" prezentacja gówna. Być może również dobry aparat, ale to może być kwestia programowa.
Niestety, dziś mam trzy problemy:
1. Bateria powoli umiera, a wymiana jest skomplikowana i ryzykowna. Przy normalnym użytkowaniu trzyma cały dzień, ale liczę się z tym, że niedługo może się posypać.
2. Oficjalne wsparcie oprogramowania zakończyło się 5 lat temu. Został ostatni "nieoficjalny" ROM na LineageOS 19, dla którego wsparcie ma się również niedługo skończyć.
3. Ten ROM pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Przede wszystkim, przypadkowo się restartuje, i zbyt często już muszę się zastanawiać, czy telefon nagle się nie zawiesi, kiedy akurat będę go potrzebował.
Myślałem o Fairphone, ale to raczej dla mnie zbyt drogie. Jestem typem, który telefonu za 500 zł używa przez 5 lat.
Oczekiwania:
1. Dobre wsparcie e/OS, z dużą szansą, że będą jakieś aktualizacje przez więcej niż 5 lat.
2. Gorilla Glass. Nie wiem, czy potrzebuję, ale zawsze miałem, i nie chcę odkryć, że jednak potrzebowałem.
3. Idealnie, wymienna bateria (w łatwy i bezpieczny sposób).
4. Fajnie byłoby nie tracić nic funkcjonalnie, i mieć trochę więcej RAM-u.
Polecicie coś?
Myślałem wcześniej, żeby czekać aż right-to-repair coś przyniesie, ale się chyba nie doczekam.

"Fix UAF in sdp_discovery.cc" patch was included upstream previously, it's just a backport. The others we applied ourselves last month. They weren't listed in the bulletin or included in the monthly update but they were published and they did fix some issues we'd caught with MTE.
