Eine Umkehr dieser Kapitalflüsse könnte der entscheidende Auslöser sein, der die wahre Mutter aller Blasen zum Platzen bringt: die globale Staatsverschuldungsblase.
Bedenken Sie, dass diese 10-Jahres-Renditen die Kosten der Kreditaufnahme in der Realwirtschaft (Hypotheken, Geschäftskredite usw.) bestimmen. Je höher die Renditen steigen, desto schwieriger wird es, bestehende Schulden zu refinanzieren, was vermehrt zu Zahlungsausfällen führt.
Die Renditen hätten nach dem Sieg der Zentralbanken im Kampf gegen die Inflation eigentlich fallen sollen – stattdessen beobachten wir, wie die Renditen europäischer, japanischer und britischer Anleihen zu neuen Höchstständen zu steigen drohen.
Und obwohl die USA darauf fokussiert sind, die 10-Jahres-Rendite zu senken, behalten letztlich die Anleiheinvestoren die Kontrolle über diese langfristigen Renditen. Sollten US-Anleiheinvestoren aufgrund einer möglichen Rezession, sinkender Steuereinnahmen infolge fallender Aktienmärkte und des massiven Anleiheangebots aus der Refinanzierung bestehender Schulden beginnen, steigende Defizite zu befürchten, könnte es dazu kommen, dass auch die USA die Kontrolle über ihren Anleihemarkt verlieren.
Die Tatsache, dass Bessent es zur Priorität gemacht hat, die Renditen zu senken, würde ein solches Scheitern noch dramatischer erscheinen lassen – der Moment, in dem die Welt erkennen würde, dass der Kaiser keine Kleider hat.
Mit über 1 Billion Dollar an Papierverlusten in ihrem Anleiheportfolio wäre die Fed gezwungen, als Käufer letzter Instanz einzuspringen und die Renditen zu begrenzen – selbst wenn die Verbraucherpreissteigerung über dem 2%-Ziel liegt.
Man mag denken, Anleihen seien langweilig, aber das hier ist wirklich das große Spektakel. Warum glauben Sie, dass Trump und Bessent die 10-Jahres-Rendite zu ihrem Erfolgsmaßstab gemacht haben, anstatt sich auf die Aktienmärkte zu konzentrieren? Weil diese Rendite unbedingt niedrig bleiben muss, um das Risiko eines echten finanziellen Chaos abzuwenden.
Genau aus diesem Grund parke ich den Großteil meiner Vermögenswerte in Bitcoin und Gold – harte Anlagen ohne Entwertung oder Gegenparteirisiko.
Langfristig könnte dies alles in massiven Zahlungsausfällen, Restrukturierungen oder gar in „The Big Print“ enden (h/t @LawrenceLepard). Und wenn Sie heute massive Bewegungen am Anleihemarkt beobachten, ist es höchste Zeit, aufmerksam zu werden.
