他习惯性地高估了自己与利威尔的羁绊。在今时今世，他们之间早已没有那样无可替代的因缘。他在利威尔面前退了一步，也许这一步就意味着永别。

他提起随身带来的纸袋，把里面的东西拿出来。那是个精美的礼盒，里面是几个同样漂亮的铁罐。利威尔专注又警惕地看着，埃尔文拧开一个罐子，罐中飘出红茶的清香。
“……啊。”
利威尔眼睛亮了，眉梢锐利的线条软化下来。他迅速看了埃尔文一眼，接过那个罐子，嗅嗅罐口，唇角不受控制地微微扬起，简直像是得到了美味的食物，愉快地抖动胡子肉的猫那样。
“你怎么想到送这个？”
“我猜你会喜欢。如果你担心下毒，可以先给我喝。”
“我还没有多疑到神经病的地步。”利威尔别扭地收下红茶，“也不想在这里招待你。”
两人之间又是几秒沉默。利威尔吃人嘴短，熬不住先开口：
“也许你真的只是想泡我，但我没法给你任何承诺。你调查过我，知道我做过什么，和我扯上关系，你会有危险——我搞不明白为什么是我来说这些话，你安稳日子过腻了吗？”

他站在门边。虽然监控画面一片漆黑，门镜也被遮挡，但埃尔文感觉得到有人在门外。他似乎能听到低低的呼吸，以及沉重雨点打在雨衣上的钝响。
随后响起敲门声。一下，两下。
第三下时，埃尔文打开了门。
门外站着一个男人，披着深绿色的行军雨衣。无声的闪电打在天边，银白的电光反射在湿透的雨衣上。他抬起头，露出一张小巧而惨白的脸。
如雷的心跳震动着鼓膜。埃尔文再也抑制不住，把利威尔抱在怀中。
两人在黑暗寂静的玄关中相拥。利威尔的手开始动作，在埃尔文身上摸了一遍。
然后他开口，声音沙哑：
“埃尔文·史密斯，我发现你比看起来蠢多了。半夜陌生人敲门，你来开门竟然不带武器？”
埃尔文发自内心地笑，“是啊，我是个笨蛋，我需要保护。”
“真搞不懂你……”
利威尔喃喃，把雨衣脱下放在玄关。埃尔文这才发现他白衬衫湿透紧贴在身上，侧腹洇开一块淡红，颜色渐渐加深。
“你受伤了！”
“小伤。”利威尔捂住那块伤口，“那些家伙不知道我在城里还有处可去。”
“你的同伴呢？伊莎贝尔和法兰。”
利威尔奇怪地看他一眼，“你居然还会关心他们。他们在安全的地方避风头……嘶。”
“不要动，我马上拿医疗箱来。”
埃尔文跑开，半分钟带着药箱和毛巾后匆匆回来，拖鞋都跑丢了一只。他请利威尔进来，利威尔拒绝，只坐在玄关的换鞋凳上。
他的伤不算太重，至少没有弹片留在肉里，只是肌肉被撕开一大片，被暴雨冲刷得卷起的皮肤微微泛白。
利威尔头顶毛巾，默然看着埃尔文熟练地为他清洁伤口、上药包扎。
“你以前做过类似的事吗？”
“信不信由你，我在梦里做过。”
埃尔文凑近利威尔的伤口，小心地贴上纱布。
利威尔的腰围很小，苍白皮肤紧裹着精悍的薄肌，湿润的线条和阴影不规则地起伏，在埃尔文温热的气息喷上去时，微微颤着收得更紧。埃尔文忽然吻上去，滚烫的嘴唇贴在利威尔的伤口边缘，又一寸寸移动，填入肚脐的凹陷。利威尔喘息着抬头，雨珠沿着纤长脖颈落入锁骨，他一只手抓进埃尔文的金发，却没有把他推开。
“埃尔文·史密斯。”黑暗中他的声音带着暴雨的湿意，“我受伤了。你要对我做什么？”
“我不想做任何你讨厌的事，利威尔……所以我猜你会喜欢的。”
埃尔文剥开利威尔的裤子，衔进他的阴茎。
他很少给利威尔做这个，大概因此，记忆中对方每次反应都很强烈。果然抓在他头发里的那只手更用力了，利威尔发出小小的呻吟，心安理得地享受起来。有几次被埃尔文的牙齿碰到，利威尔不满地闷哼，干脆双手禁锢住埃尔文的头。
室外，强烈的雨声连绵不断，搅动出闷热异常的暧昧气息。
埃尔文吃得很是卖力，他曾经很擅长这个，可惜技巧已忘了不少，连呼吸的要领都不太记得。他逐渐感到脸颊发热，无法吞咽的唾液黏糊糊地挂下来沾湿下巴，不禁庆幸利威尔现在看不到他的脸——他不太拿得准这个利威尔对他的好感程度，目前的战略还是尽可能显得体面些。
嘴里的性器胀大、跳动着。只要是男人，没人不喜欢口交，利威尔也不例外。埃尔文直起喉咙将那根东西吞得更深，忍着喉间酥痒的异物感发出几个疑问的音节。利威尔明白他的意思，喘息变得急促。
“喂，不要咽下去……”
“我想吃……请给我。”
埃尔文的嗓音浓郁又情色。他将那根东西含进去，尝到了前液的浅淡腥味。他再次吐出在唇间跳动着的肉棒，动作拖得不必要地慢，厚厚的嘴唇像受惊的蚌肉似的裹紧，拼命想把利威尔榨出来。利威尔骂了声，提着埃尔文的金发，想逃开这张吸得厉害的嘴。
这场激战最终利威尔落于下风。埃尔文仰起脸伸出舌头，微弱光源下只看清雪白精液黏在他鲜红的舌面上。他缓缓收回舌头，喉结滚动几下，十分美味地“唔”了声，蓝眼睛带着满足的笑。
利威尔满脸通红，踹了埃尔文一脚。埃尔文轻松握住他脚踝，把那只冰凉的脚贴在自己胸前。
