i also met my first karen the last day i worked
typically i have to deal with customers who don't know how to use machines (even the zoomers) and i have an automated response program i made in my head to get the fucker's through faster
but the karen muttered under her breath that she could read and wasn't stupid
as if somehow i personally attacked her or that she had something to prove
she quickly stormed out of the store after buying her things and that was that
i think of most people as retarded, but seems like the difference between the average sheep and the karen is that the karen has the delusion that her life matters and her tantrums will somehow help get what she wants, whether recognition or physical goods

my only gripe is with the “like” is. it is an old outdated metric used by the centralized silos to strip more data.
I don't think a like has any value as it doesn't have a barrier to entry. a comment takes effort, and a repost bumps to the top & gives audience new info. a zap is a unit of value.

I spend a lot of time in Australia for an American. There are a lot of things I enjoy there. But the idea that the government is helpful and should do even more is so anti-American to me. Also, there is no Australian culture in the major cities as it’s been taken over by Asians. Yet saying that out loud is frowned upon.

For Christmas I bought my wife a new MacBook. That would allow me to use her old one. Turns out, I did not use it a single time since then.
The #Mac becomes a legacy platform for me.
Really think I'm only going to use it for #iOS #development (have to admit iOS I really use a lot).
But regarding desktops I'm happy with nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpqc3leqkrj3jtel9pter4umgl6hr5mfnrvl2a5l5y0c5q06q79zk6q60gzzc and I'm so used to that "it does not work, let me look into source code" thing that I don't want to turn back again. Think that's a good thing.

We have been working on making it so SpaceHost hosted Fediverse server instances can be hosted outside of the U.S.
I think our first non-U.S. location is going to be in the EU — I think in Germany.
With the second, maybe Canada.
We have the system built now. And, are now testing it for QA, to make sure everything is working OK.
