Ayer en mi taller de novela un alumno nos estuvo enseñando como está utilizando ChatGPT para escribir la suya.
Mi alumno es un publicista senior que trabaja en agencias importantes. Controla muy bien la herramienta, y ha pasado horas y horas entrenándola para que le ayude con el “mapa” de la novela, es decir, la estructuración de los acontecimientos que componen las tramas y la subtramas.
Para ello, ha escrito una ingente cantidad de material original sobre su novela con el fin de dotar a la IA de toda la información necesaria. Y luego ha pasado horas extrayendo y seleccionando resultados hasta lograr varias versiones de ese mapa.
Ayer nos estuvo explicando su método. Y otra alumna nueva del taller nos dijo que ella también está usando la IA para lo mismo.
De momento, los resultados de mi alumno publicista son excepcionales. Su uso de la IA es imperceptible en su texto final. Porque no la usa para escribir la novela, sino para pensarla, para estructurarla, para la visión macro del conjunto. El armazón no es obra de la IA; la IA solo ordena las vigas maestras que él ha creado de forma desordenada.
(Aclaración: como profesor de un taller privado de escritura creativa para adultos, yo no tengo ninguna autoridad para imponer una visión ética del uso de la IA entre mis alumnos. Lo que me toca es escuchar y entender cómo están viviendo su proceso y ayudarles a lograr que escriban la novela que quieren escribir, como ellos la quieran escribir.)
Y desde esa posición humilde, lo que ayer me quedó claro es que a partir de ahora la IA va a ser una asistente creativa para algunos de mis alumnos, y que tengo que aprender cómo la están usando.
La otra cosa que me quedó clara es que los profesionales de la narrativa más comercial (best-sellers, series, cine palomitero, etc) deben estar tirando ya a saco de IA como asistente de ciertas operaciones como la que he descrito.

To mě nadobro odradilo od jakéhokoliv hostingového byznysu. Jednou jsme fyzicky přesouvali servery z Coolhousingu do Casablancy, což bylo doslova přes ulici. Co mělo být asi hodinový downtime, se protáhlo na 10 hodin frenetického hledání příčiny, proč to po opětovném zapojení nejede.

If you want to see the changes you need to use GitHub or Git in either of 2 ways:
1) look at the differences in platform_manifest to see which repositories had revisions change, then look at those
2) directly look at differences across each repository we fork, but there are many, so this would be painful to do via GitHub, although it's simple with a local sync
