In my experience, Windows continues to push out (security?) updates long after their threatened cut-off date.
This has happened on both Windows XP and Windows 7.
I suspect that their lawyers won't let them stop basic patches.
It's kind of annoying actually, because you're thinking that finally you won't be interrupted by requests to update.

I don't mind them asking for money or how much they make. I appreciate the value for value model. What turned me away was Adam's stance on memes. I used to think memes were stupid, most are but as a tool for spreading a message they are one of the best. For Adam not see this and battle back thinking a 3hr podcast is somehow more valuable than memes was eye opening. How he treated NAS and the hypocrisy surrounding it was the nail in the coffin for me.

I'm weird. I wouldn't recommend those servers but I wish federating with servers full of shitty ideas was more accepted on wider fedi. focus just on the harassment. only defederate from (or limit) servers that allow their users to tag people on other servers with shit (but those servers do that so should still be kept away from the wider fedi imo).

So in a way rights for black Americans piggybacked off of that as an excuse.
If The Suffragette movement didn't exist there's a high probability that African-Americans would still be where they were 80+ years ago today, and in a way they still kind of are.
Technically speaking, Black people are worse off today than they were 80+ years because government targeting of inner cities with drugs, economic chocking, and welfare programs has devastated African-Americans.
Blacks of the past were more resilient, united, and stronger back then but now they have a poor mindset, have lots of problems in their communities, and are very soft now.
