"Fremont city leaders on Tuesday night passed what could be the state’s most extreme anti-camping law over widespread condemnation from legal advocates and homeless services providers.
The ordinance bans camping on not only public property but also private land, including on residential property, for more than three consecutive nights. A partir de março, os ovos vendidos a granel ou em bandejas sem plástico ou rotulagem vão precisar ter um carimbo na casca com a data de validade.
A determinação faz parte de uma portaria do Ministério da Agricultura, publicada no dia 4 de setembro de 2024, que deu 180 dias para os estabelecimentos se adequarem.
A medida não é válida para os ovos que são vendidos em estojos ou em bandejas plastificadas com rotulagem completa, explica José Eduardo dos Santos, presidente da organização avícola do Rio Grande do Sul e Conselheiro do Instituto Ovo Brasil (IOB) e ABPA.
"Já os ovos vendidos ao consumidor final em bandejas, sem a plastificação e rotulagem precisarão da identificação individual na casca", reforça, acrescentando que o mesmo valerá para ovos vendidos soltos.

"Two Republican representatives have introduced a bill that would prevent the U.S. Department of Agriculture from pursuing a rule to reduce Salmonella in raw poultry products.
The U.S. Reps. are Steven Womack, R-AR, and Tracey Mann, R-KS. Their bill seeks to prevent the USDA from finalizing, implementing, administering or enforcing the proposed rule 'Salmonella Framework for Raw Poultry Products,' 89 Fed. Reg. 64678. Womack is a co-chair of the congressional chicken caucus, works with the poultry industry.
The proposed rule, which has been in the works since 2020, would make it illegal to sell any raw poultry containing 10 or more colony forming units (CFU) of Salmonella and any detectable level of Salmonella serotypes of public health significance.
Poultry contaminated with Salmonella is responsible for at least 25 percent of Salmonella infections annually in the United States. It is the single largest food item responsible for Salmonella infections."
