Yes, no doubt most of modernity is too soft and we take too much for granted. There is some beauty and peace to living without power though. I find I actually enjoyed doing dishes by hand, and cooking outside on a Coleman stove when I lost power over Helene. There's a quiet and level of relaxation with candle light/firelight in the evenings, that no light bulb can ever replicate. I think I could happily live mostly offgrid, with the exception of a hot shower and a washing machine.

If I understand it correctly, you could use such numbers to draw a nice circle on a square grid, such that the circle passes through the grid points (a,b), (c,d), e,f) and (g,h).
But that would be a bit weird, I would think you could construct sines and cosines with rational numbers from that. There must be a (2X2) rotation matrix for example that turns (a,b) into (c,d).

👀 I enjoy likes...I know, I know...but it is what it is. Zaps are the best, but I carefully select my reacts (that you can't see 😆), and it's fun seeing what people pick to react. What I'm sayin is go ahead and heart those notes!!
But for real, the like hate is rough for a newb with no sats. Now that I've got my own sats to zap I don't feel as awful as when the hubs had to pity zap me in the beginning, lol.

It ought to be a State by State decision how they encourage and encourage religion, yes.
However regarding the federal government, I’ll repeat my belief: The Federal government can neither compel worship nor can they establish a national church.
Here’s what they CAN do:
-Encourage people to worship
-Put religious language on government buildings
-Give funding so people can send their kids to religious schools
-An elected official can use theological arguments when voting in favor or against a bill
None of these violate the first amendment
