Uma diretora de uma escola estadual em São José de Mipibu, na Região Metropolitana de Natal, foi ameaçada após cumprir, na unidade em que trabalha, a lei nacional que proíbe o uso de celulares, que passou a valer neste ano em todo o Brasil após sanção do presidente Lula.
Maria dos Prazeres da Silva, que é professora e diretora da Escola Estadual Professor Francisco Barbosa, recebeu ameças pessoalmente e pela internet, tanto de alunos como de parentes deles.

A educadora registrou um boletim de ocorrência na delegacia do Município, após ameaças contra ela e a família, e o caso passou a ser investigado pela Polícia Civil. O boletim foi registrado de forma indireta, sem citar os autores das ameaças.
Em nota, a Secretaria de Estado da Educação, do Esporte e do Lazer do Rio Grande do Norte informou que acompanha a situação por meio da 2ª Diretoria Regional de Educação e "prestará o devido suporte à gestora e à equipe escolar".
A pasta disse ainda que "repudia qualquer forma de intimidação contra profissionais da educação" e reforça "que a regulamentação do uso de celulares nas escolas segue a legislação nacional e estadual vigente".
O caso foi registrado como crime de ameaça, previsto no artigo 147 do Código Penal Brasileiro e que prevê detenção de um a seis meses ou multa. O texto da lei diz que é crime:
🚨 Art. 147: "Ameaçar alguém, por palavra, escrito ou gesto, ou qualquer outro meio simbólico, de causar-lhe mal injusto e grave".
A diretora Maria dos Prazeres da Silva contou que alunos resistirem a proibições é algo que é previsto pelos educadores, mas as ameaças surpreenderam.
"A resistência deles vai existir sempre, porque a gente tem regras. Para uso de fardamento, para uso da garrafa, para entrada e saída da escola. Tudo eles têm resistência. O que for pra eles não poderem fazer eles vão ter resistência. O celular não vai ser diferente, e a gente entende", disse.
"Então a gente já estava preparado para enfrentar essa resistência. O que não estou preparada é para as ameaças que sofri", disse a diretora.

'Não vou deixar de realizar o meu trabalho'
A Escola Estadual Professor Francisco Barbosa, na qual Maria dos Prazeres da Silva é diretora, tem mais de 1 mil alunos matriculados divididos em três turnos. A maioria dos estudantes são adolescentes.
Antes do início do ano letivo, pais e alunos foram avisados da proibição do uso de celulares na escola, seguindo a lei que passou a valer em todo o Brasil.
A medida adotada pela direção foi a recomendação para os alunos sequer levassem o aparelho para a escola, já que não poderiam usá-lo.
O caso da diretora ficou conhecido após ela desabafar sobre as ameaças que sofreu em um vídeo que rodou nas redes sociais.
"Não vou deixar de realizar o meu trabalho, não vou deixar de cumprir o que é necessário. Pais e responsáveis, eduquem seus filhos pra eles saberem que a violência não é o caminho. Desobedecer as regras não é o caminho", disse a diretora no vídeo.
Antes mesmo da lei federal, no Rio Grande do Norte já existia uma lei aprovada pela Assembleia Legislativa, e promulgada em janeiro de 2024, que proibia o uso de celulares nas salas de aulas, mas que não chegou a ser regulamentada.
"Eu não fiz nada que não estivesse dentro da lei. Agora eles fizeram, como insistir em usar o celular mesmo sabendo que estava proibido. As ameaças, quando envolvem família, quando envolvem a vida...", disse.
"Eu não posso, como eles disseram, ser uma heroína morta, e também não quero ser uma heroína viva. Eu quero ser uma mãe viva, uma mulher viva, uma irmã viva, e e quero ser uma professora viva, mas também respeitada".

I have gone to chiropractics and laser therapy and massage and acupuncture for the better of 3 decades. Spent a fortune on it and it helped.
But as I got older I came to the conclusion that i got better results from just doing some basic trainings. And it doesn't cost me anything. As a bonus I got stronger.
I get that a girl don't want to get bulky, but trust me on this. It will take years of excessive training or steroids to make a girl look like a man.

The United States sent $50 million in condoms to Hamas. Diversity programs caused a plane crash. China controls the Panama Canal. Ukraine started the war with Russia.
Except, no. None of that is true. Not that it stops President Trump. In the first month since he returned to power, he has demonstrated once again a brazen willingness to advance distortions, conspiracy theories and outright lies to justify major policy decisions.
“One of the biggest presidential powers that Trump has deployed is the ability to shape his own narrative,” said Julian E. Zelizer, a Princeton history professor and editor of a book of essays about Mr. Trump’s first term. “We have seen repeatedly how President Trump creates his own reality to legitimate his actions and simultaneously discredit warnings about his decisions.”
Stephanie Grisham, who served as a White House press secretary in the first term, once recalled that Mr. Trump would tell aides that “as long as you keep repeating something, it doesn’t matter what you say.” And that trickled down to the staff. “Casual dishonesty filtered through the White House as though it were in the air-conditioning system,” she wrote in her memoir.
Mr. Trump’s blame-the-victim revisionism over Ukraine in recent days has been among the most striking efforts to translate his alternative reality into policy. Over the course of several recent days, he said that Ukraine “started” the war with Russia in 2022 and called the country’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, a “dictator without elections,” while absolving President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia, an actual dictator who had invaded his neighbor. He went even further on Friday, saying, “It’s not Russia’s fault.”
By undercutting public sympathy for Ukraine, Mr. Trump may make it easier for him to strike a peace agreement with Mr. Putin giving Russia much of what it wants even over any objections by Mr. Zelensky or European leaders. Since Mr. Zelensky is a dictator responsible for the war, this reasoning goes, he deserves less consideration.
One of Mr. Trump’s claims about Ukraine offers a case study in his mythmaking. He said that the United States has provided $350 billion in aid to Ukraine, three times as much as Europe, but that much of the money is “missing” and that Mr. Zelensky “admits that half of the money we sent him is missing.”
In fact, the United States has allocated about a third of what Mr. Trump claimed, even less than Europe, and none of it is known to be missing.
Once Mr. Trump makes an assertion, those who work for him — and want to keep working for him — are compelled to tailor their own versions of reality to match his. Even if it requires them to abandon previous understandings of the facts.
