"An API written in Rust will be almost impossible to misuse" is an idiotic statement but "Rust eliminates multiple entire classes of memory bugs from the programmer" is objectively true.
I spent some time last night exploring entire kernels written in Rust, I want to try a couple and experiment them, I find them interesting. While I have misgivings about mixing Rust and C in Linux, pure Rust kernels are super interesting.

They took the MSG channel away from us (which has the Nets, Knicks, NYR, and Islanders), this was Optimum TV service, and last night's game was the first game I have been able to watch in about 2 months. The magically made a deal and we have the channel back again now. Way to start it off! I was crying / laughing. My Nana was in the kitchen, and I was in the den. And I just screamed, "Man, I miss watching these guys!" We were dying. But honestly, good for your boys. They have a tough time on the ice, so if I wasn't a massive NYR fan, I would've been ecstatic for them. 🤣

February 21 was National Caregiver's Day. I was thinking about caregiving (in fact, speaking about it at #UCSF) but didn't post. Here is a photo of my mother and father, Tzip and Jerry, on their honeymoon. Both are gone. Many years of her life were dedicated to taking care of my father, who died of early-onset Alzheimer's. I love this photo.
