FYI yesterday I didn't think about programs using the test for a qualification. I can understand that.
My issues with the test are the reliance on the tests as a whole by society.
I've known plenty of incredibly smart people who have no morals or are very unhappy. I've known people who are not smart that are hard working, successful and happy. I also know a few that are smart, successful and happy.
I think you are right it is a reflection on parenting.

I appear to have alienated myself from the Hubzilla admin account which owns the channels through which I've been publishing. When I login using those credentials, I'm treated as a new account. I can only view existing channels as a member of the public.
Not sure how I accomplished this, if it's fixable, or what it will take to fix it.
I'll try to post an update shortly but I doubt that many people are in suspense...

To my non-german friends and followers: today's general election in Germany will most likely result in a big win for the far-right AfD party
This does NOT mean that they will become part of a governing coalition. All parties from left to right have committed themselves to NOT form a coalition with or depend on support from the far-right AfD

As he prepared to give up the beloved pre-WWII-era ship he lived on in Half Moon Bay and move into a trailer on a lot he owned in this scrappy city on San Pablo Bay,
Curt Lind made a fateful decision.
Lind, then in his late 70s, invited an eccentric group of folks living on a neighboring vintage tugboat to come along and become his tenants.
The neighbors — a group of computer savants and vegan activists committed to the study of human cognition,
most of them trans women — moved box trucks on his land.
It seemed like a win-win for the free-spirited Lind:
They needed a place to stay, and he had a dream of making a little money by transforming his ramshackle lot into cheap housing for artists, woodworkers and other “makers” who were being squeezed by Bay Area prices.
“We talked a lot, and I thought we were good friends,”
Lind said in a 2024 interview with The Times.
“They were going to stay at my yard for four months.”

This is the primary difference between gold and bitcoin. Under a gold standard, you’d hold a majority of your net worth at the bank because gold is too heavy and keep a small amount with you. That means your rug risk is high. Under a bitcoin standard, you’d hold a majority of your net worth yourself and hold a small amount with the custodian. The custodian holds a small portion of your bitcoin so the rug risk isn’t devastating. I’m pretty content with small to medium transactions being primarily done on custodial bitcoin wallets. I imagine that the fees you save will exceed the rug risk over time anyway.
