Потому что дизайн — это не только лишь красивая картинка. Это еще и голову включать надо время от времени.
Закончился у меня тут к ночи #чай, осталась только запасная пачка этого самого. В пирамидках. Про уловки мракетологов я ничего писать не буду, упомяну лишь, что пачка выглядит огромной, пакетики здоровенные, но в каждом ентих пирамидок 3 штуки могло бы поместиться. Но речь не об этом.
Попиваю, значится, чаек, и вижу под кружкой натуральную лужу. Вытер, допил. Налил следующую, проходит несколько минут — под кружкой лужа. Поняли, да?
Веревочка от пирамидки — не обычная нитка, а такая, толстенькая, пушистенькая и даже мохнатая. И вот по ней-то за счет капиллярного эффекта чай мигрирует из объема кружки в плоскость стола, причем с удивительной скоростью, почти что 1 капля каждые секунд десять...
Отправил им багрепорт, посмотрим, что скажут в свое оправдание...

I make this differentiation because A. I want to be clear that no matter how they might advertise this or that method is more accurate, it will always fail due to the underlying issue and B. some people think the tech just isn't fully developed, but its underlying mechanism can NEVER improve without changing to something else entirely.
(Well, as a side note, many do actually make an effort to train in more accuracy, just, the fundamental issue always comes back to bite them. They legit are trying, it just can't work.)

I’m not too clued up on current thinking on UBI but I do remember reading about some trials demonstrating that it lifted some out of homelessness and into part time work (and then later full time work). It was just enough to cover basic rented shelter and the securing of an address enabling them to take on part time work (the same part-time work alone was not enough for shelter and food and was often impossible to secure without an address). Employers also benefited as more people were willing to take on those part-time roles. UBI is not meant to fund a lifestyle but to give a leg up. (Everyone gets it too, rich and poor but you opt out if not needed). Funding it is the issue - the trials were conducted in smaller nations too. (Finland/Norway if I recall).
