One time as a tween, I was a passenger with three other precocious tweenage boys. It was night and we were parked on the side of the road near a forest. One of the boys spotted a deer, grabbed a large knife, jumped out of the car and charged screaming at said deer. The deer reacted with "challenge accepted" and half a second later the dude had turned tail and ran screaming (in terror this time) back to the car and begging the driver to slam the gas.
