Oeste realizou um levantamento para mostrar quanto rende uma aplicação única do valor integral do prêmio, considerando a taxa básica de juros em 13,25%.
A poupança segue com o “menor” retorno, tanto no curto quanto no longo prazo: em um mês, a aplicação renderia cerca de R$ 845 mil. Depois de um ano, o ganho seria de R$ 9,8 milhões.

Em segundo lugar, aparece o CDB, que poderia render a bolada de R$ 1,34 milhão por mês e R$ 17 milhões ao ano.
A melhor opção, no entanto, estaria no Tesouro Selic, no qual os mesmos R$ 130 milhões renderiam R$ 1,35 milhão em um mês e cerca de R$ 17,2 milhões em 12 meses de aplicação.
Entenda
A Mega-Sena paga o prêmio principal para quem acertar os seis números sorteados. Também é possível ganhar prêmios ao acertar quatro ou cinco números (quadra e quina, respectivamente).
Para jogar, o apostador deve marcar de seis a 20 números do volante, de forma manual ou automática (Surpresinha). Além disso, é possível concorrer com a mesma aposta por até 12 concursos consecutivos (Teimosinha).

Os sorteios da Mega são realizados três vezes por semana, às terças, às quintas e aos sábados. A aposta mínima, de seis números, custa R$ 5.
Para quem joga pelo site da Caixa, o valor mínimo para apostar é de R$ 30, seja para uma única aposta ou mais.

Premiação
O prêmio bruto da Mega-Sena corresponde a 43,35% da arrecadação. Dessa porcentagem:
35% vão para os acertadores dos seis números sorteados (sena);
19% entre os acertadores de cinco números (quina);
19% entre os acertadores de quatro números (quadra);
22% ficam acumulados e vão para os acertadores dos 6 números nos concursos de final 0 ou 5.
5% ficam acumulados para a primeira faixa (sena) do último concurso do ano de final 0 ou 5 (Mega da Virada).
Acumulação da Mega-Sena
Caso não haja acertador em nenhuma faixa, o valor acumula para o concurso seguinte, na respectiva faixa de premiação.
Segundo a Caixa, os prêmios prescrevem 90 dias depois da data do sorteio. Depois desse prazo, os valores vão para o Tesouro Nacional para aplicação no Fundo de Financiamento ao Estudante do Ensino Superior (Fies).
