One of the things that makes me angry about “The Limits to Growth” is that the authors call for a “Copernican revolution” but what they propose is a return to a mediaeval or even older caste system : the poor countries of the world must be kept poor because otherwise resources will be depleted and pollution will overwhelm us! And in the wealthy countries, only the few can actually be allowed to enjoy wealth, for the same reason!
