Joodse school in Amsterdam-Zuid bedreigd door man in Turkije
De Joodse school Cheider in de Amsterdamse wijk Buitenveldert heeft begin deze maand een e-mail ontvangen waarin de afzender dreigt drie kinderen dood te schieten. Dat bevestigen de politie en het Openbaar Ministerie aan de NOS na berichtgeving van De Telegraaf.
De politie wist snel te achterhalen wie de e-mail had gestuurd. Het gaat volgens een woordvoerder van het OM om een 31-jarige man. Hij is niet opgepakt, omdat hij in Turkije is. Omdat het onderzoek nog loopt, en omwille van de privacy van de betrokkene, wil het OM niets kwijt over zijn identiteit.
Het Cheider wordt al jaren beveiligd en sloot na het uitbreken van de oorlog tussen Hamas en Israël een aantal keer de deuren omwille van de veiligheid. Op de school wordt zowel basis- als middelbaar onderwijs gegeven. Het schoolbestuur was niet bereikbaar voor vragen van de NOS.

Well, I completed the second upgrade of my 1st gen #framework 13 by moving to the 2nd gen webcam! Overall, while it's not perfect (noise is still an issue IMO), it otherwise compares favourably with the much larger Samsung Slimfit camera I often use, which is impressive given the latter is much larger.
As for the upgrade, it was two screws+washers and a little ribbon connector. A little fiddly but otherwise very easy. It really is amazing what they've done with this machine.
