I suspect this will not be well-received but I feel the need to make it.
Bitcoin is not as decentralized as you would like to think it is. The technology is not horrible itself, and the lightning network makes Bitcoin much more viable for some of BTC's issues, but here are my thoughts:
Even a top-end GPU can only get an estimated $0.50 per day mining Bitcoin according to NiceHash. There are similar statistics for even a new AMD EPYC Server CPU at ~$0.52 per day. This means that consumers putting hundreds, if not thousands, into a computer and mining with it couldn't see any real profit. This also leaves the majority of the network power in the hands of those with large amounts of resources to buy top-end ASICs for mining operations, usually being governments or large companies.
Bitcoin has its benefits for some, but I see too much nonsense being spilled on Nostr about it. It's meant to be decentralized, but due to average consumers being unable to viably support the network and gain from it, big entities control the vast majority of the network. This post ignores other issues I have with it, but decentralization is what I mainly see preached that is not really accurate.

...prošel jsem si tedy české znění, a krom obecného náznaku nějakých neurčitých postihů, které jsou i logicky předpokladatelné, a které dost volně předznamenává "článek 34", mi v souvislosti s tím konkretním varováním před omezením vlastnických práv zrovna tou formou, kterou zmínil kamarád, přišla zajímavá a asi klíčová tato pasáž v článku definic pojmů:
„minimálními normami energetické náročnosti“ (se rozumí) pravidla, která vyžadují, aby stávající budovy splňovaly požadavek na energetickou náročnost v rámci rozsáhlého plánu renovací fondu budov nebo v rozhodném okamžiku na trhu, jako jsou prodej, pronájem, dar nebo změna účelu v rámci katastru budov nebo katastru nemovitostí, v určitou dobu nebo do určitého data, což vede k zahájení renovace stávajících budov;
-tedy výcuc: „minimálními normami energetické náročnosti“ = pravidla vyžadující aby stávající budovy splňovaly požadavek na energetickou náročnost ... v rozhodném okamžiku na trhu, jako jsou *prodej*, *pronájem*, *dar* nebo změna účelu v rámci katastru
Dle mě představa toho omezení práv prodeje či pronájmu vychází z předpokladu, že tento text značí i to, že bez dodržení tohoto požadavku nebude možné budovy prodávat, pronajímat.
Viz i to v jakých souvislostech se pojem "minimální normami energetické náročnosti" v textu používá.
Až kamaráda potkám (vídáme se cca tak 1 měsíčně), tak se ho i zeptám, zda vychází také z této pasáže.
Dle toho co mi říkal prý i shodou okolností dával k tomu textu i nějaký komentář či neco takového jakýmsi novinářům na jejich dotaz, tak snad si to dobře před tím pročetl a promyslel...

"KYC blah blah blah" - I get all that. Not my point here.
Strike is really nice to use. I can't recall ever being irritated with it. The UI/UX is quite simple and just works for my needs.
If they had a debit card, I'd consider replacing my bank with the Strike app at this point. I keep just enough fiat for my fiat bills, so I really don't care if it's not technically a bank.
Whatever you think of KYC, their work on UX is incredible. And I'm confident they wouldn't do KYC if they didn't have to, for whatever that's worth.

The provincial colleges licence all physicians.
To practice as an FP with unrestricted licence in BC one must have passed the CFPC exam.
Specialists require certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.
I was on a provisional licence until I passed the exam (and the LMCC exams also).
