I did a bunch of cleanup on my configured list of relays in gossip, and pared them down quite a bit. Then I advertised my current relay config from gossip. But when I open Amethyst on my phone, I still have a lot of relays configured in there that I don't have in the set I advertised from gossip. It seems like amethyst is either not picking up or (partly or fully) ignoring the kind 10002 event I'm advertising from gossip.

Hm, Threema ist nicht kostenfrei, was für manche eine Hürde/Abschreckung darstellt.
Es ist auch nicht (vollständig) OpenSource, was aber für manche kein so wichtiges Kriterium zu sein scheint.
Sie sitzen in der Schweiz, was eigentlich guten Datenschutz verspricht.
Aber wegen des Closed Source muss man dem Anbieter vertrauen.
Delta Chat verfolgt ja schon technisch ein ganz anderes Konzept, eben weil es ausschließlich über das E-Mail-Protokoll funktioniert.
Threema finde ich ein bisschen schöner designt, aber das ist ja Geschmacksache.
Funktional bietet Threema ebenfalls einen etwas höheren Umfang, wobei es drauf ankommt, was man denn konkret braucht und nutzen möchte.
Komfortabel zu bedienen, finde ich beide.
