Amerikaans gezondheidsministerie roept medewerkers op toch te reageren op Musk
Het Amerikaanse ministerie van Volksgezondheid roept zijn medewerkers op toch te reageren op de mail van Elon Musk. Diens departement voor overheidsefficiëntie (DOGE) wil bezuinigen op het aantal ambtenaren en eist daarom dat alle ambtenaren bij de Amerikaanse federale overheid een mail sturen met daarin vijf dingen die ze op hun werk bereikt hebben.
Het ministerie stelt echter wel voor zó te antwoorden dat DOGE op basis daarvan geen individuen kan ontslaan.
Eerder zei het ministerie nog dat mensen niet hoefden te antwoorden en dat ze niet hoefden te vrezen voor hun baan als ze dat niet deden. Maar DOGE stuurde afgelopen vrijdag een nieuwe mail waarin nogmaals gesteld werd dat een reactie op de mail verplicht was.
Onder het ministerie van Volksgezondheid vallen onder meer de voedsel- en warenautoriteit FDA en gezondheidsdienst CDC, vergelijkbaar met het RIVM. Medewerkers van die diensten is nu op het hart gedrukt om voor vandaag middernacht een reactie te sturen naar DOGE, blijkt uit een interne mail die persbureau Reuters heeft ingezien. Zij moeten hun mail wel afstemmen met hun leidinggevenden.
Algemeenheden
Het ministerie maakt zich zorgen over de privacygevoelige gegevens die mogelijk gedeeld zullen worden en zegt tegen ambtenaren hun antwoord "op een hoog niveau van algemeenheid" te formuleren. Dat moet er voor zorgen dat hun antwoorden niet te herleiden zijn naar personen.
Eerder riep het Amerikaanse ministerie van Justitie ook al op niet te reageren op de mail van Musks departement. Ook daar waren er zorgen over de privacy. Leidinggevenden wilden bovendien weten of de werkwijze van het departement juridisch mag. Musk dreigde met ontslag als ambtenaren geen antwoord stuurden.

Do you have a limit on how many people can join?
Do you have conditions on who can join (like, do they have to be academics or it doesn't matter)?
Do you mind if I mention your platform in the NeuroMethods slack so people could give it a try?
Where is the data stored and who has access to it?
How is the data backed up (say, if the server crashes)?
do you have limits on number of messages or size of attachments? (We don't usually have attachments but I'm just curious)
is this free for your users? If so, are you planning to charge users for it at some point in future?

Le cahier des charges :
- un truc léger et pérenne, ou idéalement statique
- qui me permette d'intégrer facilement des photos au milieu des blocs de texte, avec génération automatique des vignettes
- qui me permette d'intégrer d'autres fichiers que des photos, par exemple des GPX
Le seul que je vois à faire tout ça, c'est Hugo avec un thème complet style Paiges. Vous voyez autre chose?
