朝から重い話で恐縮だけど、川上拓也さんや辻さんが結構早くから旗幟を鮮明にしていたのは、この件を知っていたからこともあると思うんだな。まあ俺もある人からの伝で聞いてはいたけど、それはそれ、これはこれで、何より山口や官邸の動きを免責することはしてはならないし、被害者にこれ以上何かを背負わせてはいけないと思って、それに支援者と当事者間の話は外部からは見えにくく言及しづらいとも思い、それは俺だけではなく、皆同じ思いで、拡散はしなかったと思うんだよね。キャサリーンさんご自身も今まで多くは語ってこなかった。
でもね。彼女が作った映画を見た人からの感想が広まり(実際の裁判推移とは異なる内容)、さらに元代理人の方々との揉め事が広まり、さらにそこからあろうことか元代理人への攻撃が始まり、記者が訴えられ、遂に謝罪広告要求の件が出てきて、流石に皆、ここは言わなければとなったと思うんだよね。山口を許さないという意思が皆にあったからこそ、沈黙を貫いていたのに、現弁護団の超攻撃的対応見て、皆、フェーズが変わったと認識したんだと思う。とても残念な話になるけどね。

Yeah… its all easy talk. Imagine your neighbour takes over half your garden, your neighbour from two blocks away tells you to just give it up and also he tells you he will start using your pool. Then some random dude on the internet tells you your gonna die soon anyway, your neighbour is gonna die soon.
