RE: MonHun Wilds is too easy
So, having made it through most of the story now, I feel like I can safely say that the people claiming they never once upgraded their gear and steamrolled the whole thing are either way better at hunting than they claim, or they're full of it.
Like, I'm not carting all that often, but that was also true of World. Any additional ease I'm having I feel like is attributable to having more control over my toon / various QOL features added.
I wasn't all that concerned about how difficult or not it was going to be anyway, but in my estimation it's mostly the same as World save as for a simpler first couple chapters.
