Schwierig... Einerseits, klar, Tätern zu zeigen, dass sie "Erfolg" hatten, ist kein gutes Signal. Andererseits, zu feiern, nachdem so etwas schreckliches passiert ist, fühlt sich auch nicht richtig an.

ChatGPTと話していて思ったのですが、たとえば勉強するときにChatGPTから正しい知識を教えてもらうというスタンスで学ぶだけでなく、むしろ雑談相手というか、議論までいくかどうかはわかりませんが、まあ話し相手としてChatGPTとしゃべるのは、なかなかいいのではないかと思っています。正しい知識を得るという観点でChatGPTと話していると、相手が間違ったことを言っているのがすごく気になるものですが、単に話し相手や議論の相手として話していると、むしろこちらの頭が活性化して、相手が出してくれた手がかりやヒントのようなものを自分で確かめるような感じになるんですよね。それがなんだかいいなと思うときがよくあります。ここまでが一つの話。
もう一つの話としては、考えるときの主体はどちらにあるかということです。ChatGPTから言われたことをこちらがチェックするだけだと、なんというか「やらされ感」が出てしまうんですよね。そうではなくて、自分から考えて「こういうところはどうなのかな」と質問し、ChatGPTから暫定的な答えを得る。そしてそれを読んで、そこからまた自分が考え、次の一歩を踏み出す。そういう心持ち、そういう気持ちのあり方がすごく大事なのではないかと思うんです。以前はこのことを「質問する力」や「問いかける力」と表現していましたが、もう少し違う感じがしていて、学ぶ姿勢というか、自分が学ぶ、あるいは自分が考えるという態度そのものが問われているように思います。
別の言い方をすると、ChatGPTをはじめとする生成AIの登場によって、自分が対話する相手ができた。そういう状態の中で、自分はどういうことをどのように考えていくのかという態度そのものが問われているような気がします。「どういう知識を身につけるか」「何を知っていて何を知らないか」といった話だけではなく、もっと高度なレベル、つまり「自分が納得するとしたら、何を知っていなければいけないのか」という、一段階メタなレベルで考え方や態度が変化しているように思います。そして、それはもちろん、知識や方法などをいろいろ知っているChatGPTが目の前にいるからこそ生まれるものなのですね。
ですから、ChatGPTは単に検索して知識を得られる検索エンジンでもなく、正解を得るためのコンピューターでもなく、自分が納得し、自分が面白いと思うことを主体的に追求していく際のパートナーのような存在なのではないか。そんなことを考えていました。
今思いついたことをだらだらと話したので、まとまりがありませんが、こういう話もそのうち結城メルマガの題材にしていきたいなと思っています。

In den USA finde ich das mehr als augenfällig. Schon deshalb bin ich überzeugt, dass man anders ansetzen muss. Ein zentraler Schritt wäre es, die Konzentration von wirtschaftlicher und medialer Macht zu begrenzen und - wo sie schon entstanden ist - zu zerschlagen.
