I appreciate educators, but I hate the fact that many are incentivized (ie, subsidized) by the Federal Government to reward strict compliance, memorization, and group-think rather than autonomous thought, creativity, and integrity.
I appreciate commerce and the necessity of a widely accepted medium of exchange, but I hate the fact that many are incentivized (ie, subsidized) by the Federal Government to steal purchasing power from (forced) users of the fiat currencies--thereby worsening income inequality--rather than allowing to people to survive and thrive through their own proof of work.
I could go on.
Do you see that everything the Federal Government touches, it corrupts over time?

This worked for me too. It's not really like a traditional paywall. Zapbox works with any previous zaps over 3 month period, so a zapbox note can be more like a reward for the people who have supported a creator through public v4v.
I definitely agree with you that it would be tough to make that the exclusive means of disseminating one's works in most cases, but if used correctly it could create inclusivity, closer connection, and more incentive to zap public content.
Loxbox, in the other hand, serves a completely different purpose. I think "restricted" is probably appropriate language for the technical explanation but something more like "limited" might be better language user-side. The example running through my mind is that the people who like my pretty pictures aren't going to care about when my grandma's funeral is taking place, but my friends & family will. I'm more likely to also be following those people, so lockbox notes limit the immediate spread to that group. It's not like it's private information but its unnecessary, maybe uncomfortable, to tell the whole world.
Sorry to interject, but I see the potential for these to gain a lot of traction. 😅

Good morning! Last night's snow was pretty. This morning's now, and current rain, is nasty. It's too slippery to venture out today, but the rain and warming temperatures should take care of it while I stay dry.
Today I'm especially grateful for the technology allowing me to have a long catch-up phone call with my sister in Chicago, participate in a genealogy webinar, and then join a town hall run by my two Senators tonight. A busy, productive day.
