I knew where we were headed! I had hope and truly believed this could be the end of centralized social networks. Unfortunately, it has now been centralized under one person and a few organizations that are tied between each others and lead to the same VCs, game over. #Nostr was a great attempt at decentralization, but luckily, it was just the first. More protocols will emerge, and the key is ensuring they’re not dependent on the communist Jack Dorsey!

idk if this is happening across the country or even across the world.. but there’s these churches in Miami that have been popping up that look more like a business brands than anything else, they even have “limited exclusive merch”
& their logos rivals those of mainstream brands, their spaces are super high tech, their social media game is right there next to the biggest influencers..
two examples I can give off the top of my head is “Calvary Church” and “VOUS Church”

前几年有一回我跟社区的人去送慰问品给老人，给米啊油之类的东西，还有现金。一次要送好几家，我们都没有车，所以五六个人一起骑电动车运送，真的是拿不了。
前阵子我在nostr看到有人发了一张照片，就是五六个社工和一个老人的合照，然后说这么多人送两样东西还要拍照。但是有没有可能这只是其中一家，有没有可能这么多人是因为真的东西不好拿？送都送了，拍个照也只是顺便。
这世界很多事情本来不是坏事，但总有人片面地去曲解。

I have a lot more questions about DVMs and feeds.
Nothing about 31990 events indicates it is a DVM that generates a feed in a computer-parsible way.
None of the 5000-5999 job request kinds are allocated/defined anywhere. Are they DVM specific? How could I find all feed-generating DVMs if they are?
How are Amethyst and Primal doing this? Did they just setup client-specific DVMs and use that a-priori konwlegde about the relay and DVM feeds available, or did they *discover* these feeds out there on the nostr network somewhere? If the former, then we have NIP work to do before gossip is going to get into this game.

People in positions of power say a lot of deceptive things. The ability to rewrite history (aka 1984 sytle) is a wonderful tool for cultivating that power. Look at legacy media.
I want to see nostr other-stuff that starts copying everything these elite say and publish it for the immutable record. It will not take long after to see who are the tyrants, and who are the prophets.
