Good morning, #nostriches!
Today is my first day off in weeks. This past week has been a rollercoaster. I actually went out of several dates and then was summarily dumped, but not ghosted. This is the first time I've dated anyone since my separation/divorce. It was honestly very pleasant, and I'm thankful for that, even if I woke up to "I need to focus on me. You're great, but... I'll loose myself if we keep seeing each other." 🙄👍
A coworker at Walmart is retiring for health reasons. My schedule was reworked and in two Mondays, I'll have Mondays off! Two days a week? 🤯😨😵 plus, most of my days will be starting early, which is much, much better for me. I'm SO STOKED about this!
That's good, because I have a lot of prep work to do before moving my trailer up here. I've mostly decided where to put it (after consulting with my dad and considering wild and crazy options). I'll need to dig some trenches as I'll be running power, water, internet and propane directly to my trailer, plus I'll be dumping some serious fiat into upgrading my solar and energy storage

It requires me to setup yet another streaming endpoint and it's yet another chat. I already have a HLS feed, why do I need to rebroadcast it to zap stream?
I'm already in 2 chats for the live show, I can't manage a third.
I also don't like then twitch like see whose streaming page.
If your are ONLY streaming to nostr, then I think it's perhaps good. But when you already have your own, zap stream is not a great option, imho.
Honestly I think we need a way to get nostr chat events kicked off from rss feeds (which support a link to a chat) than solely using zap stream.

Rolling out a small change to ZEUS Pay Zaplocker payments this morning:
Zaps are now broadcast when the sender makes the payment. Previously they were broadcast when the receiver redeemed them in their ZEUS wallet.
This should provide for a bit of a smoother UX for zappers.

So you build a #nostr bot. Create a static form and have it sign a nip-44 event to DM the bot for newsletter registration with some form of identifier or tag. The bot then follows those who registered and it scrapes your own site's RSS feed and any new posts trigger sending the link as DM to those the bot follows, aka those who registered on the form. Could be leveraged for other contact lists and marketing purposes. Thoughts? #AskNostr
