Getting rid of the Deep State is no way a Road to Dictatorship. It's dumb to even think this. Fools writing this kind of stuff are either totally pissed their USAID money is gone, or were indoctrinated by their Socialist teachers in school. Ficticuous did well, but his responses didn't seem to stand up to your points in my opinion. Very glad to learn of his well thought-out stances either way, though. He has a lot more faith in social movements than I, in their effectiveness but even more so in his confidence that they end up being "good". (One of the biggest issues is how he even defines "good", and who his definition applies to, and if they want it to or not...)

Do you need to move the finger to increase the value? It's doesn't seem a great IX, and it also has low discoverability.
I would offer a single tap for the default value, and long pressing for zapping more, with a logarithmic increase. Like stacker.news

My ego never had much chance to develop. Most of my early years were spent in a harsh environment, dominated by fearful, zero-sum people. So, week by week, that ego withered under destruction of others.
By the time things improved, I had already been used to live in ways that didn't depend on ego.
Nowadays, I mostly manage it through identities. Whenever I start taking myself too seriously in one, I switch. I shift focus back to goals - to what needs to be accomplished, rather than the illusion of self-importance.

if I was nefarious and found a repeatable way to move bitcoin I wouldn't do it as I received the wallets phrases. I would Que up transactions in a batch & exploit all at once one large pull before the exploit could be identified.

The struggles of the Plebs in ancient Rome hold a striking relevance to our own modern-day battles for power and accountability. The Tribune of the Plebs, the Assemblies, and the Twelve Tables all served as powerful tools to keep the ruling elite in check, and it's remarkable to see how these ancient institutions foreshadowed the struggles we face today.
Just as the Plebs used these institutions to hold the Patricians accountable, I believe that we have our own modern-day tools that can serve a similar purpose. #Bitcoin and #NOSTR, to me, represent the best hope we have for creating a more just and equitable society. They embody the same spirit of decentralization and resistance to centralized power that defined the Plebs' struggle against the Patricians.
In a world where power and control are increasingly concentrated in the hands of a few, these tools offer a means of pushing back against the tide. They provide a way for individuals to assert their autonomy, to communicate freely, and to resist the encroachment of those who would seek to control them.
The parallels between ancient Rome and our own era are striking. Just as the Plebs fought against the concentration of power and the erosion of their rights, we face similar challenges today. But with Bitcoin and NOSTR, I believe that we have the tools we need to create a better future for ourselves and for generations to come.
We can't change the past, but we can shape the future. And with Bitcoin, we have the tools to create a world where money is a source of empowerment, not enslavement.
