Great band. One of the issues I have with V4V music is that it's hard to tell it the artist is still active. Even if it's someone's back catalog they uploaded it would be nice to know someone is on the other end. True, but the redundancy lets clients cross-check for errors. For instance, if a "w" tag says "BTC" and "bitcoin" but gives a Lightning address, the client would notice that right away and could act accordingly.

Short answer is, if other clients are only looking for your notes from your outbox relays, then the request to delete will be relatively effective so long as those relays comply with it.
Your "deleted" note may still exist on other relays that it was rebroadcast to, but clients still won't find your deleted note if they are only looking for it on the relays you specified as your outbox relays.

Yes, this or what Vitor suggested seems to be good approaches, the only difference I can notice is that in this one the network is added. Just a comment. Is the network optional or always required? Feels a bit optional since its really not needed in the majority of cases where by parsing the address you already get the network. If this is the case and the network is optional, it might be worth putting it as the last item of the array.

It doesn't need to be cash-flow positive, but some cash should be transfered.
For instance, we ask for users to commit a given amount of sats as a reward for fixing a bug or putting a new feature on Amethyst. They can offer anything, even 1 sat.
But if they offer nothing and delete the text that asks them for, I don't even pay attention to the issue.
If they don't care enough to put something up, then I also don't care.
