Hard to tell in the before photo... didn't take any close up shots... but every bit of metal was rusty. A few of the screws looked straight up black. Tons of oxidation on the frets and the fretboard had a layer of black grime on them. Dust and dog hair was literally balled up inside the body. The knobs had this gross brownish yellow sludge in all the crevices like someone spilled coke on it and just let it dry.
My ocd self had to remove every single screw and polish them individually. The stickers left so much nasty goop everywhere and the internal springs were rusted out looked like they were gonna snap any minute.
Now it looks like a new guitar! Perfect for my daughter to learn on. It plays like dream!
