Addresses aren’t the issue. It’s that if you want to sell for cash they don’t use Lightning so you end up having to wait up to an hour for a text message that your withdrawal is ready. At least that’s how it worked the one and only time I ever used one.

おそらくはDVDやCDの寿命の話題から、紙や石板が最強というネタが盛り上がっているのだとは思うが、今の紙は最強とは言えないのは、意外と広がってないのだろうか？
今の紙は、白く漂白するために化学溶剤を使っているため、経年劣化が激しく、赤茶色に変色してボロボロになりやすい。
正倉院に入れる云々以前に、漂白剤を使ってないお高い紙を使わないと、耐久性は50年ぐらいで見積もっておいた方が良いと思う。
ちなみに高度経済成長期ぐらいを境に、それ以前の出版物は漂白剤を使った紙ではなくなっていくので、耐久性が高いと聞いたことがある。

The easiest way to run your own relay is to buy one from relay.tools
It's like 12k sats/mo. Your relay runs on their hosted hardware and you configure it through their web console.
If you want run your own relay on your own hardware, you'll need a basic Linux machine, and the relay software of your choice. strfry, HAVEN, and other bitorva relays are popular choices. They're available on GitHub, and require some extensive configuration to get running. You don't need to be a developer, but you do need to be very comfortable installing and configuring software packages.
Another option is to run a hosted relay with Eggstr https://www.eggstr.com They offer a turnkey, hosted strfry relay, along with several other node applications covering nostr, bitcoin, Lightning, and Blossom servers.
If you're new to all this and are unsure of where to start, I'd recommend either the Eggstr server platform, or the relay.tools hosted relays. They're a good way to get started right away, and allow you to learn and get comfortable with running a relay. Running your own relay is a bit more DIY, and would be a good option to consider once you're familiar and accustomed to how it all works.

Once again, deflation in #China is back in the headlines. The direction of pricing shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone given the continued path of “shock to the system” taken by policy makers.
The only real question is whether these very same policy makers are willing to allow for real pain to persist at the household level for yet another year.
While there is evidence that China’s economy is now past peak pessimism, there remains deep concerns if a turnaround is truly underway. I’ve no idea and, quite frankly, I doubt the leadership in Beijing has any idea either.

so if i’m getting this right, they’re basically giving us a hypervisor on an android device, letting us deploy any os virtually, just like on a server. in fact, all these cloud servers run on top of & are isolated using hypervisors.
so this isn’t just an app, it’s an entire development ecosystem for low-level system apps & os. it sounds almost too good to be true. really hoping it gets widely adopted & integrated.
