Most shitcoins will eventually go to zero and the ones that don't are going down it Bitcoin terms, but there is no possibility that all shitcoins go to zero. We've already got ETFs, 'tethers on tron', liquid, custodial lightning , ecash and a whole host of tools designed to scale bitcoin. If scaling up to a medium of exchange for the planet is going to happen (hyperbitcoinization) then the amount of value is going to be on bitcoins blockchain is going to represent everything there is. That is and will be in the future, a lot. i believe the natural evolution will include shitcoins because the at some point the farhter away we get from layer one the more trust gets introduced and at some point, call it the free market, there will be individuals who simply trust other solutions rather than bitcoin sidechains. Its already happeneing, just because the trust is unfounded does not change this. And there is other reasons for this too, convenience being one of them.
Basically all this to say if fiat dies AND we enter hyperbitcoinization, the shitcoins will be around in that future. so i think its good to come to terms with that and possibly use it to our advantage

Lol. It was just that I grew up in a community that was pretty much entirely on the left. All my friends were democrats. Everything I interacted with was left-leaning.
I think that most people's experience, though growing up I always had a disdain for authority, and I was psyoped into thinking socialism would be a good way to channel that. I got into Bitcoin and just slowly started to diverge, and as people on the left often do, my friends got caught up in one drama meltdown after the next and I just let the bridges burn down and went all in on Bitcoin and Nostr.

You are confusing the fact that the Byzantines had lost the Near East to the Muslims hundreds of years before the First Crusade, and they appealed to Pope Urban II for help, after also losing part of Asia minor to the Turks in 1071. The Muslims were descending upon Constantinople.
The Crusaders returned part of Anatolia and then went on to found Outremer (Edessa, Antioch, Jerusalem, and Tripoli), which stayed in Christian hands until Edessa fell to the Muslims (they were constantly under attack). The Second Crusade was an attempt to reconquer Edessa, but ended in Jerusalem falling to Saladin. On the positive side, Christendom regained Lissabon, Portugal, from the Moors in the West (that was the start of the Reconquista of the Iberian peninsula).
Third Crusade was hopeless.
During the Fourth Crusade, the Crusaders were on the way to Jerusalem and were asked to help the deposed Byzantine emperor and ended up in the middle of a Byzantine civil war.
It's a long complicated history, and the Byzantines don't necessarily come out looking good.

Launch of My Website Testing Series!
Back in 2001, I spent 2.5 years testing around 74 websites for free, focusing on usability. Now, 24 years later, it’s time for a revival—this time bigger and more comprehensive.
There's nothing quite like this on the web, and it can't be automated either, as the tests span seven categories. The last category is something as challenging and rarely discussed as "ethical aspects".
Why do this? Simply to finally answer the question: "How good is a website?" Because just looking at it in a browser isn’t enough. You have to pop the hood and examine what’s inside. And that’s exactly what I do with these tests.
Three test results are already published on my blog.
So, if you really want to know how "good" your website is—go for it! If you want me to dig deep and provide concrete improvement suggestions, there’s a fee, of course.
