I guess when I think local posting, I think of posting to your local machine, I don't know enough about Blue Sky to know if they have different scopes of posting kind of like the Fediverse does.
Like, for instance, in the Fediverse, you had your local feed, which was your instance specific feed. There's the global feed, which is everyone that you're federated with, and then there's your home feed, which was everyone you followed.
I know you can kinda Host your own instance in blue sky, but as far as I was aware, even self-hosted instances had to connect back to the central server for pretty much everything.

I don’t understand how the second point addresses the gold divergence from other commodities during that time frame. If non-monetary commodities around the world are not rising in proportion to gold, then is the position that fiat was preventing *deflation* from happening? This wasn’t just an American problem.
I don’t think this absolves the US of the issue- it adds another layer: everyone was printing money (yes- especially the US), but everyone was also expecting the US to honor a price of gold that didn’t make sense anymore. Makes the depegging make a lot more sense from the US perspective- you quit the illusion and allow the free market fiat value of gold to float for everyone.
Not saying it’s a good thing, just learned additional context.

You can arguably do a local posting with citrine and amethyst. Last time I was out backpacking I tested this by making a Note posting it and it got loaded into my local citrine relay and then when I had cell service I was able to broadcast it to the rest of the network.
Unless I'm a dumbass and I'm totally misunderstanding what he's talking about.

Meh. Factory reset it. Set it all up again. Use the same SSID and password so your WiFi devices all reconnect. That's not a big deal, just more work.
Alternatively, you can use a program like Angry IP scanner to scan for devices on your network.
