oh dear, i gave my skitty #mochi the new drontal internal antiparasitic and some other drug for the external stuff, and i see his eyes are all watery and he's behaving rather differently, like, playful and bold, sitting up on the shelf threatening to tamper with my nicknacks
he is definitely in skitty mode right now
this weather at the moment is crazy, rain and wind and rain and wind and i don't know what way is up at the moment
time to go to bed, but first i must dispose of the skitty's deposits in the clay repository in the bathroom, and sweep the clay bits he has scattered around the floor, and then to welcome him to his favourite sleeping place next to me on the bed upstairs
too much friction and probably i can't even catch a photo of him perched on the shelf with his visible slight wobble that is obviously probably induced by some cholinergic effect of the drugs i gave him to clear his parasites

inshalah that this actually kills the ear mites and eye mites he has had that the previous treatment did not affect
and i'm off to clean toilets and chew bubblegum, and go to sleep to the whooshy sound of the wind and the periodic random patter of rain

not the best maps in terms of how they completely show nothing of the new equator of africa
but damn if that's the new equator that means i'm pretty much right in the middle of the twist axis, i knew it was sorta ok here in Madeira in the coast next to west africa and Morocco/Mauritania relatively speaking but this shifts the new equator much closer and thus also the eye of the storm much closer to me right now
maybe i am actually already in a good spot, having a boat might be a good move in case i need to go to the mainland

no, as far as it goes with taproot, all they have is some vague specification of "tweaks" that let you associate, from the server (smart contract) side that various addresses are connected to the same "contract address" while hiding that fact from the network
from a cryptographic perspective, they are literally just an on-chain HD wallet scheme, there's nothing more to it, it's precisely the same, address + arbitrary string, hash, and voila, new public key that can't be seen as linked to the old one... so it gives you many "slots" to accept payments from the same base and your server can scan the mempool by iterating the allowed "tweak values"
literally just the same shit as HD keychains, which is like 201 5 technology, and actually the theoretical principle dates back way further than that, and yeah while i'm talking about AI, the principle behind AI symbol graphs is literally exactly a form of hash tweak shit like taproot addresses, that they call "proximity hash" and they use different bit scrambling algorithms to achieve the actual "proximity" between two similar inputs

i'm getting to be a grumpy old fart with this programming stuff these days, almost wish i could just unplug from the internet while doing my work, because of how loony the whole scene is, and if you think that what the nostr dev clowns are doing is bad, holeeee shit you should see what shitcoin devs are doing, completely off the charts, here be dragons shit
probably part of my grumpiness is i work for a company that i am perceived as the least interesting, compared to the front end javascript wranglers, and the smart contract scripters, yet my code does way more sophisticated shit than anything anyone else does, and they all literally think that AI can replace programmers

these AIs can replace shitcoin smart contract devs and front end devs tho
when the hammer comes down i'm the one that made the smart move
and anyway, for me, dammit, i can WRITE the browser GUI code that paints the pixels and processes the input, and i know i can because i wrote custom widgets for a GUI library back in 2018 that took the devs of that library another 4 years to finally figure out even though i pointed them at my code and said "here, this gives you a scrollbar" lol
