With the latest CR, I hope it provides a long enough runway for policies to take effect...would love it if some could be supported through legislative process, too.
We need people to have the guts to rip the band-aid off, risk re-election, to right the ship. It will be painful, but also need "early-and-often" communication on how the Biden numbers (GDP, inflation, job numbers) were heavily manipulated...and been manipulated for years.
Then a steady communication of "steady, lads" for elected officials and constituents.
4D chess to crash equities and ride the thin line to reduce rates...because of recession and REAL job loss...and then refinance that 7Toof government debt into lower rates to have ANY shot at getting out of this "financially alive".

Nobody lost funds, the Megalith LSP currently has network issues which causes a channel to be shown offline. This is how the lightning network works. The channel will come online once those issues are resolved and all is good. Alby Hub by default shows only the balance that is online (maybe this should be changed?)
btw. Alby Hub is open source, maybe as a class action for you a github pull request or an github issue with feedback and ideas is a better idea?

It is technically a Client problem.
But Nostr is not simple if you solve that problem.
You break everything simple about Nostr when you solve it.

People usually miss posts from slow relays. And relays are busy/offline all the time. So, I would add a second fast one.
Overtime I don't think a relay will ever be fast and store forever at the same time. They are competing architectural designs from the relay.

Your Nostr reach is directly proportional to how much you invest on your Outbox relays.
Make sure your Public Outbox/Home relays are fast. If you are using a relay that takes its time to update its cache and your post takes a couple minutes to show up, most people will not see it. They have moved on to more recent posts. They will need to scroll back in time to find your post.

Apologies for the disruption. Part of the fun of being early in Lightning is discovering new, undocumented issues, that nobody has found before. We're working with the best minds in Lightning currently to get the channels back online. It's a networking issue specific to an "unfortunate" interaction of two implementations Lightning protocol, that (as far as we know) was a theoretical issue that we realized could possibly happen -- but never actually seen "in the wild" before about 12 hours ago... it's not a failure of the LSP node, a hardware issue, or anything like that. Alby Hub is a pioneer and we're the biggest LSP on Alby Hub, so we have the joy of seeing the interesting/hard problems before anyone else does.

social harmony is just living in peace with your neighbors.
i fail to see why they should require any external validity except for clinging the idea that there must be some univeral framework we should be using.
we can (and do) impose those frameworks on our neighbors who dont share our personal conscience.
but frankly its not a great solution.
it would be better for individuals themselves to develop a mature "personal conscience."

I thought about this a bit, and an idea that came up as a countermeasure to an already compromised key would be a bot that can post automated messages that the nsec had been compromised and pointing followers to a new npub. It would also be able to request deletion of all subsequent notes published to relays by anyone else.
Is this something people might want to use?

i would love a soundproof box with comfy cushions and floating on a perfect stable air cushion (like those vibration free platforms used in physics experiments)
i don't think the water is necessary, i find it distracting, personally, i've been in float tanks a few times and i'd rather it just be clean, soft, supportive but not sagging support
i bet if they used the sarcophagi as sensory deprivation devices they just used cushions too

We need to make sharded nsecs the default for Nostr.
Amethyst partially signs with its share of the nsec and sends to Amber. Amber can only finish the signature or reject. Amber should not be able to reassemble the nsec from any event from Amethyst (or any other app).
Now repeat this for every single Nostr app.
No single app has the full nsec. The only way to "leak" an nsec is to break into the code of both apps at the same time.
Frost does that. But for singing only.
We also need sharded encryption and decryption schemes.
