i'm not against using taproot, and it really bugs me that simple nostr-style schnorr signatures got introduced to bitcoin protocol in association with this retarded "contract address" tweaks thing
it's like, bro, tweaking pubkeys based on the secret is not a protocol matter, tweak is nothing, taproot the whole name is basically all about this whole thing of "omg we can use hash to modify a secret key and allow multiple addresses to be understood by one wallet"
yeah, like a HD keychain (yes, taproot is basically a form of HD keychain protocol)
but the signatures and pubkeys are just fucking the fucking same as fucking nostr signatures
you see how they have muddled the two concepts together?
the real valuable thing that schnorr signatures enable is signature aggregation, so it allows such things as threshold protocols and multisig that only uses a single signature of bytes on chain
these enable cool stuff with lightning, such as, you know, hiding the fact it's a lightning channel
but you see what i mean, some asshole has muddied the waters by merging this new signature and aggregation scheme with their pet smart contract bullshit

Wanted to try out a vulnerability scanner SaaS product.
Went to create a free trial account.
Couldn't create an account because it said my 30 character password didn't include the required upper/lower/numeric/special characters, even though it certainly did.
Tried half a dozen variations before giving up. If you can't do a password requirement check, why should I believe you can do more complex security scans?

If you connected your Alby Account we might have an encrypted backup of your channels, or if you still have your old files from before you tried to migrate, you might be able to recover those funds

Rejection of religion isn't rejection of faith. One can be an atheist who believes in the strength of encryption, for example, but their belief is just that: a belief. There is no proof that P ≠ NP, and thus actions done with that underpinning are led by faith. Human action and growth have to be driven by faith in something; otherwise, we wouldn't have the will to do anything.
What rejection of religion is is a denial of a human construct of control that, regardless of how benevolent and pure its foundation claims to be, has without fail been used to subjugate and divide humanity. Religion can be useful at an individual, self-actualizing level, but that utility breaks down and is higly likely to become corrupted at a societal one.
Humans are inherently moral and driven to act in their self-interest, which, when taken to its maximum, is actually a collective interest. Every day we evolve to work and fight with one another to reach a point of pure oneness; it's just a volatile path to get there. There doesn't need to be a "God" to tell us this; we're all a sliver of the universe, a realization of its consciousness, part of a greater whole, and the crowning of a higher class of entity denies us the agency to live that reality to its fullest.

Only the Bible claims to be accurate and timely accounting of Jesus as a historical figure. Other than that we have only "records" created by christians years after his death. To cite the bible is circular reasoning.
You can't cite the bible as proof of Jesus if I can't cite the Poetic Edda as proof of Odin.
Mohammad has better records of being a real historical figure by non believers written during his lifetime than Jesus. Will you convert to Islam?

Not sure where "here" is. Are you talking about accidentally pasting it into a note on your chosen Nostr client? If so, then no. Publishing your nsec as a note has no do-overs. Your nsec would then be public information and anyone would be able to use your Nostr profile at will.

Religion is hallucinatory in the same manner as material wealth and sociality. Some people may be more or less “susceptible” to hallucination than others.
We like to think of Osho as “less susceptible”, but we’ll never know. The only real “measure” of hallucination is individual and momentary, imperceptible from the outside no matter how deeply one meditates.
All of what we do is some version of love, whether we are aware of it or not.

Wouldn't be a problem. My flagship wallets already contain it to protect cards and you couldn't tell it's there.
