ثروت، در جامعهای که فقر به فریاد رسیده، نه مایه احترام است و نه نشانه موفقیت؛ تبدیل میشود به جرم. به چیزی که باید از آن متنفر بود. به تو بدل میشود، که نماد نابرابری هستی که دیگر قابل تحمل نیست. و وقتی چنین شود، دیگر نه قانون حافظ تو خواهد بود، نه دیوار، نه تکنولوژی، نه پول.
پول تو، در همان نظامی که این نابرابری را ساخته، قدرت دارد. اما در دل خشمی که شعله کشیده، همان پول تبدیل میشود به زنجیری دور گردنت. اگر جامعهای بسازی که بر پایه بیعدالتی استوار است، دیر یا زود تو هم در همان بیعدالتی غرق خواهی شد. شاید نه از نظر مالی، اما از نظر امنیت، از نظر آزادی، از نظر امکان زندگی انسانی!
اما راهی هست. بیتکوین، نه فقط بهعنوان یک دارایی، بلکه بهعنوان یک ساختار پولی نو، در ذات خود عدالت دارد. کسی نمیتواند آن را خلق کند. کسی نمیتواند آن را مصادره کند. همه در آن برابرند. در بیتکوین، دیگر نیازی به نظامهای متمرکز برای حفاظت از دارایی نیست، چون خودِ سیستم بر پایهی آزادی و اختیار فردی ساخته شده.
اگر واقعاً میخواهی ثروتت بماند، تنها راه این است که ساختار را عوض کنی. و نه با انقلاب و خون، بلکه با خروج آرام از نظام معیوب فعلی. با خروج از پول فاسدی که این همه نابرابری را ممکن کرده. با ورود به جهانی که در آن هیچکس بیش از دیگران حق خلق پول ندارد.
این راه نه فقط برای فقرا، بلکه برای ثروتمندان هم راه رستگاری است. راهی برای اینکه ثروت دوباره معنا پیدا کند، نه بهعنوان ابزار سلطه، بلکه بهعنوان نتیجه ارزشآفرینی واقعی در سیستمی عادلانه.
بیتکوین، راه نجات توست. حتی اگر ثروتمندی. شاید مخصوصاً اگر ثروتمندی.

I had the same concerns early on when I first got into Bitcoin. I was viewing it through the lens of gold, where the currency was centrally controlled, while the store of value seemed independent (though still largely held in banks).
But once I learned about Lightning and later, Fedimint and Cashu a lot of those concerns faded. These innovations make it too easy for people to use sats both as a store of value and a medium of exchange, without relying on centralized infrastructure.
That said, in the short term, I think you’re right, we’ll likely see a scenario where a hard-capped SoV leads to the rise of a CBDC as the MoE.
I think this will cause a split in the population. The MoE will become politicized, and I wouldn’t be surprised if CBDCs are marketed as the "right," "moral," or "unselfish" currency to use.

How I combat shipping wine in the Summer
As temperatures rise, I get more careful about shipping. Heat can ruin a bottle before it ever reaches your door. That’s my responsibility, not yours. If a bottle ever arrives heat-damaged, I’ll make it right.

To minimize risk:
- I only ship on Mondays, so wine doesn’t get stuck in hot warehouses over the weekend.
- I may delay shipments to hotter regions until the weather cools.
- I monitor temperatures across the country every week.
Most people don’t realize how fragile wine can be in the heat. Even short exposure to high temps can cook the wine and destroy its character. If you’ve ever opened a bottle and it tasted off or flat, that might’ve been the reason.
