I am wondering, if so much people want to put extra data on bitcoin blockchain, and other wants to keep the blockchain free of extra datas, why not use another side chain ?
I mean a chain with block linked to original btc blockchain by a kind of checksum written in it. and all this extra data stored in this side chain.
It will also be interesting to add some rewards to this side chain for nodes and miners because they will not host all theses datas for free.
Or why not a completely new blockchain not linked to bitcoin dedicated to that purpose, stocking extra datas ?
Miner would want to mine the chain that have the more interesting profitability, sometimes it will be extra datas blockchain, sometimes the bitcoin blockchain...
Is it as impossible as the creation of bitcoin was ?

Nice to see more people digging into this. Bitcoin has never guaranteed censorship resistance, at least, not 100%. Miners always pick what to include, usually based on fees, but also on what they think matters. If spam is deprioritized, it takes longer or costs more to get through, making room for the high value tx, that end up paying miners more (long-term). That makes bitcoin more sustainable in the long-run.

Multisig : that's debatable. I remember Francis Pouliot writing this a couple years ago, on twitter :
"Having a strong BIP39 passphrase and redundant backups is superior to a multisig for security, accesability and loss prevention. I can't imagine the stress of multisig as a personal solution. No wonder people pay 3rd parties to hold their multisig keys!"
Francis has been in bitcoin for a long while and has been involved in customer-facing businesses (btc businesses) for about as long (the Bitcoin Embassy in MTL and then bullbitcoin.com).
I remember even electrum (older version) messing up the multisig setup so badly that such that electrum couldn't access the funds put in that multisig. And electrum is a very OG project.
