“철그럭..”
움직일때 마다 들리는 소리
또 다시 “철그럭..”
가게에서 제일 잘 나가는 합성고기를 시키고 기다리고 있다. 기본소득으로 받은 돈과 월급을 적절히 아껴 쓰려면 오늘은 합성고기가 좋을거 같다. 사실 합성고기가 아닌 고기 맛이 이제는 잘 기억도 나지 않는다.
아이는 허겁지겁 합성고기를 먹고있다. 나는 말없이 그 모습을 지켜본다. 아이의 우리가 행복하냐는 질문이 계속 머릿속에 맴돈다.
가끔 내 아이만큼 내가 어렸을 때를 떠올려본다. 저녁에 부모님과 함께 치킨을 시켜먹고 가끔은 여행을 떠나 이것저것 구경하던 것들이 떠오른다. 아마 행복했었던것 같다.
식사를 마치고 집으로 향하는 길, 내 귓가에 들리는 소리 “철그럭..”
언제부터인지 모르겠지만 발 걸음을 옮길때 마다 쇠가 땅에 끌리는 소리가 계속 들려온다. 기본소득을 받기 시작했을때 부터인가 싶다.
