It works perfectly for local apps, but I'm trying to test against web clients.
I create an app, take the bunker:// link, give it to Nostrudel or Coracle. In Nostrudel's case it attempts connection until it times out. In Coracle's case, I'm not sure as the submit button doesn't provide any feedback.
In both cases, checking in the developer console, no HTTP errors seem to be returned either.

Those are fair tradeoffs and I think they’re reasonable. My view is that it’s most easiest to i18n at the start of the project. If not, it gets progressively harder. But once i18n is done, it’s pretty straightforward to follow the established patterns for dealing with user-facing strings, and localization mostly comes for cheap afterward (to the developer at least - they just need to maintain the translation pipeline and ensure enough context is provided for each string). At that point, you just need to rely on the community to translate strings, if they care about wanting the client to be in their language.

Thanks for your time. When developers make software, they cryptographically sign it to prove that they are the creator. Just like Nostr.
But the public key for that encryption is on the same big cloud companies (Github) as the software itself. So people have no way to verify that the developer made it.
One answer is everyone comes on Nostr, but this has things scrolling off the feed and requires each dev to have an account. Instead, we have laid out all developer public keys on a 2nd new internet called IPFS that is even more difficult than Nostr to backdoor. So it's a website, instead of a twitter feed for keys.
