Homesteading ourselves, and I drive a semi during the week, so I get it. Good pay from the day job and building an apiary, planting trees and perennials, and looking forward to getting chickens again when our side hustles get big enough I can quit driving for a hatchery.

这两天无论A股还是美股，提到的相关标的都发生了巨变。有现在看显得事后诸葛亮的，也有确实涨得狠。
如果是关注短炒的，会觉得可惜，肉打少了。很容易得出结论“傻逼，还敢发出来找打脸。”
呵呵，年底最终年化拉出来，到时候再看谁是真傻逼。
每个成熟的投资人都该有属于自己的投资风格。

Ok, so basically, the kind of group community features that people currently rely on Telegram for are perfect for a local, multi-category, members-only communications channel.
Which Nostr client offers or is actively developing these capabilities?
Is SimpleX the answer? I haven’t explored its group chat options enough—does anyone have insights?

If radical abundance is possible then we don’t need UBI. If radical abundance is achieved it’ll be because of free market incentives. If you destroy free market incentives with UBI you will no longer have radical abundance.
It’s like saying you can create an organism that is so successful that you no longer need DNA, when DNA is the only way you can create a successful organism. They are interdependent.
There is no future with radical abundance that has a socialist or communist distributions of resources. They are perfect opposites of each other.

Just kidding, we can also have apps that automatically grab relays from friend recommendations or even recommendations by the app maintainers if nothing else is available, then use these for the user without them even knowing, and if they seem to like it keep using, but if they seem to dislike switch to other ones, all very automated and invisible and assuming the user has the intelligence of a worm, like the UX experts say we should do.
We can also do something in between, with suggestions that the user has to accept manually, or just making it easy for the user to, for example, click on a relay URL in a note from someone else and have the option to browse that relay and add it to a sidebar or topbar where they can go back there, then eventually add that relay to their own curated relay sets and recommend it to others, stuff like that. I don't have all the answer, as you may have noticed.

I woke up committed to doing something uncomfortable today. I'm putting myself out there to let the world know I'm interested in employment opportunities in the Bitcoin space. I’ve been searching for a while, but I’m ready to ramp it up, mix it up and see what happens with the social capital I've been building here on nostr...
This is hard and uncomfortable because I hate talking about me. I prefer doing, building, creating, and occasionally writing (people at work say I'm good at it 🤷). But one of the most important things Bitcoin teaches us is that doing the hard thing is often the right thing, so lets see where this goes.
My experience feels like it borders on irrelevant for Bitcoin at times, but if I’ve proven one thing throughout my career it is that I’m adaptable and learn quickly. I didn't know anything when I started working—I barely knew how to get to the CLI 🖥️. I have a degree that supposedly claims I'm capable of learning, but being a bitcoiner is the real truth to that. I tend to gravitate towards leadership positions once my feet are under me. I lead with a servants mentality and enjoy customer support and leaving people with a smile. I've spent 16+ years in IT doing everything from call center support and tier 1 tickets to desktop and server administration to project management with some team lead and management responsibilities along the way. I've done a lot of educating and guidance both in my career and my interactions surrounding my Bitcoin experience.
I’ve learned quite a bit about Bitcoin and have a broad experience with most aspects to self-sovereignty, self-hosting, and privacy. I don’t claim to be an expert--as soon as you do you get humbled. I love learning and gaining new skills and checking out new, useful tech.
I know what I know and have a good sense of knowing when I don't know--the difference is just the delay in finding the answer. I'm confident I can provide value where ever I go, respectfully I feel I always have. I'm a down in the dirt, get stuff done type--it was instilled in me from birth getting dirt under the fingernails on the farm.
Some personal interests I've been educating myself on and exploring include artificial intelligence, project management, IT service management framework and application analysis and development.
Anyway, if you’ve read this far, genuinely thank you 🙏and if you’d be so kind as to pass it on to spread the word I’d be eternally grateful because you never know where this mycelial web of human connections might lead.
PS - I have an pseudonymous-oriented resume available to folks interested, but I’d like to do my research about you before providing it to you (I’ve seen predatory scams out there TBH). I’m not here to support the black sheep “Bitcoin companies.” I have integrity and ethics I need to hold true to at the end of the day and want to truly build a better Bitcoin world for the next generation.

It isn’t an effortless process. It’s definitely a new concept for those who aren’t used to it. I wouldn’t say that it’s any harder than figuring out health insurance or taxes. I wasn’t a techie when I joined and I wasn’t really into bitcoin. I understood bitcoin after I came to nostr. I understand bitcoin because of nostr. I think that normies could get it.

* PRIVACY: gossip was authenticating to relays in many cases even if you turned on "require user approval before AUTHenticating..."
* gossip was rendering nevent links as note1 links in some cases
* when clicking the parent link, sometimes it wasn't finding the parent note (even though the note you clicked correctly hinted at which relay the note was at)

Officially announcing my BitcoinKitchen project!
BitcoinKitchen will be a value 4 value based show where contestants will compete in a cook off to win Bitcoin! I’ve drawn some inspiration from my favorite cooking show Iron Chef, so there will be a live audience as well as 3 judges alone with myself as the host and a co host.
My goal is to provide entertainment for bitcoiners and continue to add some level of normalization of bitcoin in my local community. Bitcoin podcasts are saturating entertainment content so I would like to build something fresh and fun. For a lot of us bitcoin can be a serious topic and on occasion we could use a little break.
This project is NOT for my profit, I hope to at best break even. All funding will go directly back into the show and towards the prize stack for each episode. The show will be live on zap.stream in May of this year if you want to support us you can also send zaps to this nostr or to the Geyser fund. More to come!

Now they say that inflation is price increases. And they mix it up like this so you forget about the causes. It’s some kind of magic. 🤣
Price increases happen because of inflation.
My favorite is still "demand-pull inflation." That’s the biggest bullshit!
If there’s a shortage, it causes price increases, but that’s just a natural part of how the market works.

Today while I am working on my nostr recap my pc went turned off suddenly. When I am trying to turn it on again it didn't turn on.
I would like to ask from this helpful community does anyone has experienced same thing like this or do you know how to fix it?

No dia 15 de fevereiro de 2013, o céu da Rússia foi iluminado com uma bola de fogo nos céus, um meteoro com cerca de 10 a 20 metros de diâmetro e pesando aproximadamente 13 mil toneladas, atravessou a atmosfera a uma velocidade de 65 mil km/h, explodindo ainda no ar, na cidade de Chelyabinsk.

O meteoro de Chelyabinsk não foi um evento isolado. Em 1908, um objeto ainda maior explodiu sobre a região de Tunguska, na Sibéria, derrubando milhares de árvores, a maior explosão natural já registrada na Terra nos tempos modernos.
O evento foi o maior impacto registrado em 60 anos e extremamente bem documentado, por conta das centenas de câmeras que registraram o evento, e seu rastro de destruição pela cidade.

Assim, comemoramos os 12 anos desse grande evento, uma data bem especial pra mim pois sempre foi essa a grande influência que tive pra gostar de astronomia; ser lembrada que nasci no dia que achavam que o mundo ia acabar.
Meus pais sempre diziam que tinham medo das profecias de que o mundo iria acabar em 21 de Dezembro de 2012. Estavam bem errados, mas esse evento apavorou muitos da minha família.
Felizmente, nesse dia o mundo não acabou, mas eu estava nascendo, e hoje estou aqui dividindo esse curto espaço de tempo vocês.

A nomeação, assinada nesta terça-feira (25) pelo governador Gladson Camelí, diz que os candidatos que serão efetivos do cargo terão o prazo de até 30 dias para a apresentação dos documentos pertinentes ao cargo e a efetiva assinatura do Termo de Posse.
Para conferir o resultado com o nome dos convocados, basta abrir a edição do DOE desta quarta-feira (26).
Foram convocados agentes administrativos, assistentes sociais, cirurgiões-dentistas, condutor de ambulância, enfermeiros, farmacêuticos, fisioterapeuta, médicos cardiologistas, cirurgiões-gerais, nefrologista, obstetras e ginecologistas.

Concurso
Mais de 32 mil pessoas se inscreveram para o concurso da Secretaria de Saúde do Estado do Acre (Sesacre). A prova objetiva foi aplicada em outubro de 2022, nos municípios de Brasiléia, Cruzeiro do Sul, Feijó, Jordão, Marechal Thaumaturgo, Porto Walter, Rio Branco, Santa Rosa do Purus, Sena Madureira e Tarauacá.
Foram, ao todo, 32.468 inscritos. O resultado final do concurso público foi publicado pelo governo do Acre em janeiro de 2023, com mais de 600 vagas para cargos efetivos da Sesacre.
As provas tinham 80 questões de múltipla escolha e a avaliação foi de 0 a 100 pontos. Os candidatos que tiverem pontuação igual ou superior a 50% do total e não zerarem nenhuma das provas de conhecimento estarão aptos a realizar a próxima etapa do concurso.
O concurso tem validade de dois anos após a homologação do resultado final com a possibilidade de uma prorrogação por mais dois anos.
