Fé e cultura: conheça pontos turísticos que contam a história de Penedo, no Sertão de Alagoas
Museóloga Carmen Lúcia Dantas aponta o que tem por trás das igrejas que atraem turistas à cidade. Muita história, gastronomia única e belezas naturais. Assim é Penedo, no Sertão de Alagoas, que faz parte da rede mundial de cidades criativas da Organização das Nações Unidas para a Educação, a Ciência e a Cultura (Unesco).
Banhada pelo Rio São Francisco, os encantos da bela penedo não se limitam às margens do Velho Chico. O rico centro histórico é um convite para explorar as raízes e tradições da região.
"Penedo começou aqui. Penedo é emoldurada pelo Rio São Francisco, que trouxe o desenvolvimento para esta área. Através, sobretudo, da Bahia. As mercadorias chegavam por aqui e também chegavam negros escravizados que eram comercializados e levados para as grandes propriedades, os feudos que existiam no Baixo São Francisco", explica a museóloga Carmen Lúcia Dantas.
A igreja Nossa Senhora da Corrente, um dos pontos turísticos de Penedo, foi construída como forma de pagamento de uma promessa, segundo contam historiadores antigos.
"Só existe Nossa Senhora da Corrente em Penedo. Na iconografia católica, não existe. Diz a lenda que um português se livrou de uma prisão em Portugal e fugiu para o Brasil com um pedacinho da corrente. Ele fez uma promessa para Nossa Senhora que construiria uma igreja em sua homenagem em agradecimento", conta Carmen Lúcia.
A igreja é repleta de marcantes. Além do pedaço da corrente foi colocada no alicerce do templo, há uma passagem na parede que leva para um espaço onde acredita-se que é onde os negros escravizados ficavam escondidos.
"A igreja tem uma distribuição muito harmoniosa da sua decoração. Não tem só o acúmulo no altar. Distribui essa decoração com a nave da igreja. Isso dá um acréscimo nessa beleza", explica a museóloga.
Penedo também abriga o Complexo Franciscano, um conjunto arquitetônico formado pelo Convento e Igreja de Santa Maria dos Anjos. O local é um importante ponto turístico da cidade e um exemplo da arquitetura barroca.
"É um complexo arquitetônico grande e preservado. Tem missa diária na igreja, é de uma atividade religiosa intensa", afirma Carmen Lúcia.
No local, tanto na fachada quanto na parte interior, é possível identificar uma forte presença dos artesãos locais, com anjos afro-indígenas. "É a presença do artesão penedense na elaboração de um altar tão delicado".
Outro lugar que vale a visitação é o bairro do Oiteiro. "É um bairro periférico, mas é muito importante tanto para a história quanto para a formação social da cidade de Penedo porque aqui é um território Quilombola e é tombado pela Fundação Palmares", explica Carmen Lúcia.

There are. You can retro-fit your diesel car to run on old frying oil or fat. My dad wanted to do it for a long time. You'd put a heated fat container into your trunk and connect it to your injection. there is definitely risk associated with multi device, but on my mac/linux comps I've confirmed that the messages are encrypted with the system keystore now. signal is my 'imessage' 😂 I'm not too worried about the risk. I do wish they supported view once messages too.

I didn't know the Hansa brought Christianity or romanization to the north. I only knew of them as being a trade league that might serve as inspiration for future anarchistic endeavors. Is that really true though?
Over 50% of all Crypto is owned by governments and institutional investors. If you wanted to manipulate the market secretly and privately, that's how you'd do it.
Like feeling you are part of the rebellion while investing in a "currency" being manipulated by Black Rock, State Street, and the US and Chinese government.

The same way that the government manipulates anything either directly or indirectly.
Primary points of manipulation are price and percentage of ownership.
Each time there is a significant dip in prices, the percentage of ownership by institutional and governmental investors goes up. Generally, these aren't pass through holdings for individuals. These are directly on the books by these organizations.
What might have started as a grassroots commodity has become something else. Watch the percentage ownership. The strategy can really only go one of two ways:
1) Pump and dump destroying the crypto market or significantly degrading it or forcing it into heavy regulation
2) push out strategy where the percentage of ownership by individuals continues to dwindle while institutional investors gobble everything up (see single family homes).

The really insidious part of the manipulation is that they are using our money to do it. Every public and private pension. Every bailout. Every quantitative easing.
